Is Papa's white coat the same one he's worn before? Wasn't he supposed to get a new white cashmere coat recently from a tailors group? It was supposed to be really warm but lightweight. No matter what he is wearing, he is just so cute!

They better hurry up. Because the coat he wears doesn't look warm enought for this time of year - even in Italy. But still, Papa looks so wonderful on these last pictures, with his bright eyes and the smile....obviously he feels good.

Oh Oh Oh!!!!!!! Wednesday was THE day, girls!!!!!
Audience back in the square, sun shining, our beautiful, beautiful Papa happy in his white overcoat! What more could we hope for?
Then....in the afternoon.....the blue/purple/silver chasuble at the Mass in Santa Sabina................RATZICOMA!!!!!
I just KNEW he'd need a sip of water! Oh - wish I could be there to give it to him [now, now, Mary, DO try to keep calm!]

I wasn't the only one to notice the spot or shaving cut on his chin in the morning, was I? Oh dear! Isn't someone there to help him? I feel that great desire to care and hug coming on!

No, I noticed it as well. But we are used to it now, aren't we! Maybe we should buy him a good razor for his birthday.

I don't know where Nessuna got this from - I have not seen it before - but not only does she have it, she also enlarged it.
AND IT IS HEARTBREAKINGLY BEAUTIFUL -that expression is unrepeatable! It was obviously taken that historic afternoon, as Papa clearly has the black sweater under his ceremonial garments. Was it taken inside the Sistine Chapel?
