Thanks, Maklara. I've seen some news items and video from the first part of Papa's audience that was held in the Paul VI Hall but nothing on the second part in the basilica right afterward. What happened there? Was he just introduced to the various visiting groups or did he give another talk? |

on czech section of Radio Vaticana was written that he met organised pilgrims in Paul VI Hall and individual pilgrims in Bazilica.

POPE VISITS STREETCLEANERS' CRECHE Sylvie's montage of the Pope's visit tonight to the streetcleaners' creche near the Vatican:
The Creche has been a yearly project of the AMA, acronym of the Italian term for Municipal Agency for the Environment, since 1972. Paul VI started visiting the Creche yearly in 1974, Pope John Paul II continued the practice and last visited in 2002 when his health still allowed it.

Why did Papa go to visit the Streetcleaners' creche, is it a tradition? I think it's a beautiful idea.
