It's been fun. Gotta love the girls on this forum.

Well, we kept it going, Bood, while you were busy getting married to your DH and having your lovely baby son. It's great of you to thank us! Now, we hope you have a bit of time during the day to relax with the forum. I'm sure benefan will agree with me that ours is a mixture of the light-hearted and serious and so we hope it appeals to all. Naturally we're sorry that some former members have drifted away, but they probably still read the forum. Benefan and I have both had, and still have, serious family commitments. We are both thankful for this forum and the relaxation it offers.

We also love Pope Benedict XVI as much as ever - probably more so. Thank God for Joseph Ratzinger!!!!!!

Just to let you all know that I'm going to be busy for the next four to six weeks and I shan't be posting on the forum. But I'm going to continue as moderator to help benefan, so I'll check the forum whenever I can.

Glad to hear from you. We were getting worried. Post whenever you can. Are you going to Quebec? I was there many, many years ago and loved it but that was in the day when there were lovely little roadside shrines every few feet and everybody was very devout.

I am new here and thank you Mary for helping me register to reply on your fantastic forum.
I think you all have a wonderful forum here, keep the good work up.
I am working my way around and will reply to other threads.
Thanks to Pope Benedict's recent visit to the UK, I would of never have seen you here. He has left a lasting impression here in the UK. We hope he visits again in the future as there are a lot of people who would love to see him again and I would certainly love to see him. I missed him as I only saw the visits on TV not live but wished I had been there in London etc.

@Flo: Yes, I did! I was looking for a photo of our Father Bob at Cofton Park. We used his camera - which is why my photos were better than previously. I'll try to post it and hope you'll also post the photo of your Father David. Sorry I hadn't replied to your e-mail.

Dear one and all, I have been forced to completely neglect the forum for quite a while for various reasons which I won't go into in detail now (mainly being away a while and work requirements). I'm sorry if this may have caused the impression I had abandoned the forum altogether. This is not the case of course, neither has my enthusiasm for our Papa diminished. My special apologies go to Mary who has been waiting for a message for ages and despite this hasn't given up on me. I'm really hoping to be able to make more regular contributions again from now on. Thanks so much for writing this! It really does make me - and all of us - feel happy to know that you are still with us and as keen as ever. Other people just disappear and we don't know why, whereas you have been good enough to let us know.

We have gained several new members, including Sonia from England, who is a very keen GG fan and has just set up a website in his honour with its own forum. I've started a fan club for Monsignor Konrad Krajewski [I expect benedetto.fan has told you, as she admitted to having fallen for him in 2007, whereas I've only just woken up to the fact, myself !!!!!!] AND HOW!!!!!!

Summer [Reginapacelli] is very knowledgeable about the history of the Papacy, especially Pius XII and she has a fan club for Monsignor Guido Marini.

So let the good times roll!!!!!
