yes, you're right with the watermarks. In Germany the situation is getting even worse. I am in a music forum and we used to have pictures, video clips, soundfiles etc - it was like paradise. wow,that is really bad ! I just think that it is ridiculous to have to pay hundreds of dollars or euros for one photo (like it happens in the case of getty or corbis)when u are not even planning to use it in a publication (either on paper or online).Sure,I do understand that's the way they get money to pay their own bills but come on now.
As for the rest of the things people share on the internet(like music,movies or tv-shows) I think that is done also because one original product costs soooooo much and most can't afford it or just prefer downloading it free if it is possible.For example I am watching some tv-series that are not aired in Romania so the only way to watch them is *cough*...download *cough* :D them.
By the way,there is a very small chance but I gotta' ask : does anyone here watch Heroes? Yes,yes,I know,I'm obsessed :D |

Well,the series Heroes is very ,very interesting if u like this kind of shows (most say it's the biggest hit of the year) and the actor is a guy called Jack Coleman and he plays a character without a name,only a surname :Bennet and everyone who watches the show just calls him HRG(Horn-Rimmed Glasses). He's my favorite character + I think he's handsome :D
And u are right about listening/seing things on the internet and buying them later on,I do the same,especially with movies.

ok,I know this topic is really off topic but I just can't help myself(again,please forgive me,obsessions are a hard thing) .Jack Coleman's character(HRG),besides being handsome :D, is not really bad and he doesn't have any powers.He kinda' works for a "company" (so they call it) that searches for this people with abilities and studies them for a few days then generally releases them.It's true some things end up bad but he only does what he feels is good.But the most important thing is that he has an adoptive daughter(he was forced to adopt her when she was 18 months old) by his superiors 'cause they thought she could also be special(and she is) and he was supposed to "bring her in" when she shows abilities but he loves her so much that he risked his life to keep her safe.Ok,that was very long.
Ok,I don't understand much of the Papal cake talk but it does look delicious |

Anyway it all sounds quite interesting and if you like it so much there must be something about it. So, if they show it in Germany I am going to watch it.

oh yes,that bear is amazingly cute and so white ! I do love animals a lot so most look cute to me but he's really sweet.
Ah,he's not a scientist,he leads some kind of division in this so called company(it's pretty confusing so far in the show)but ,yes,they study this people,there are scientists there who do tests. In any case he's a really great character and the relationship with his daughter is so moving. |
