There was a quick ring apron change after Raw went off the air and they went right into the taping for Friday's WWE Smackdown. Zack Ryder opened the show by trying to get the "largest fist pump" record. He hyped "Zackdown" and was interrupted by Alberto Del Rio. Alberto threw a few weak insults at Ryder, who then announced the first match would be Del Rio vs. Sin Cara.

1. Alberto Del Rio defeated Sin Cara.

2. Primo and Epico (w/Rosa) defeated The Primetime Players (w/A.W.).

3. Cody Rhodes and Dolph Ziggler defeated Christian and Santino Marella.

4. Big Show defeated The Great Khali. A quick squash match.

5. Ryback defeated Tyler Reks.

6. Damien Sandow defeated Justin Gabriel.

7. World Hvt. Champion Sheamus defeated Chris Jericho. A hell of a match with a lot of near falls and finishers used before Sheamus went over.

After the match, Del Rio blindsided Sheamus on the ramp with a vicious kick. Del Rio headed to the ring and hyped Money in the Bank. Sheamus recovered and headed back to the ring to confront Del Rio. Alberto got the better of it, but he missed a scissors kick and then Sheamus rebounded off the ropes with a Brogue Kick.

The announcers left their table, so it appears that Smackdown concluded at some point during the Del Rio and Sheamus brawl.

Smackdown is now Zackdown. Zack Rider kicks off the show. His first thing to do as acting GM is to do the biggest fist pump. The whole crowd does it. Out comes Alberto Del Rio. Ryder announces that Del Rio will face Sin Cara tonight.

Alberto Del Rio defeated Sin Cara via submission.

The Big show tells Ryder that he's doing a sucky job as GM. Ryder makes a match between Big Show and The Great Khali for tonight. Khali does the fist pump.

Primo (w/ Epico and Rosa Mendes) defeated Darren Young (with Titus O'Neil).

Sheamus and Ryder are backstage talking and are interrupted by Chris Jericho. Sheamus calls Jericho out, but Jericho says he's not there to fight. Ryder makes Jericho vs. Sheamus for tonight.

Dolph Ziggler and Cody Rhodes defeated Christian and Santino Marella after Ziggler pinned Marella.

The Big Show defeated The Great Khali. They slapped each other, and then Show knocked out Khali with the WMD to win the match.

Ryback defeated Tyler Reks.

Damien Sandow defeated Justin Gabriel.

World heavyweight champion Sheamus defeated Chris Jericho. Del rio come out as Sheamus is celebrating and attacks him. Del Rio then locks the arm bar on Sheamus.

Booker T, Michael Cole, and Josh Mathews came out for commentary. Cole has new music. Lilian Garcia was the ring announcer. The ending of the Sheamus vs. Alberto Del Rio match from Money in the Bank was shown...

Rey Mysterio made his entrance and they replayed his segment from Raw with Alberto Del Rio. Mysterio cut a promo. Rey was in his hometown to announce that he's back. Del Rio and Ricardo came out without a car to cut him off. Del Rio accused him of being a chihuahua and said he took Mysterio out.

Del Rio is upset at Sheamus for beating him at Money in the Bank. Dolph Ziggler came out to say he will be the next World Heavyweight Champion. He's upset at Del Rio for thwarting his cash in on Sunday. Rey Mysterio interrupted their argument and suggested they fight. Ziggler said they should. Sheamus entered.

Sheamus awkwardly hugged Mysterio and called him fella. Sheamus and Mysterio were ready to fight. Del Rio left. Ziggler almost took a 619, but Vickie saved him. Solid opening segment. I'm guessing we get a tag match tonight...

1. The Primetime Players (w/A.W.) and Hunico and Camacho defeated Kofi Kingston, R-Truth, Epico, and Primo. Darren Young pinned Primo (or Epico) after he fell off the top rope onto Young's knees.

Big Show hit the ring and said he was there to demolish the tag division. He hit everyone and double chokeslammed Hunico and Camacho. He delivered a promo in which he said, "And...what?" and left. That seemed unnecessary...

A Raw 1000 vignette with Jeremy Piven was shown. Long live SummerFest...

The aforementioned tag match main event with Sheamus and Mysterio vs. Del Rio and Ziggler will happen tonight... A Tout commercial aired...

2. Damien Sandow defeated Zack Ryder. Sandow said we were embarrassing ourselves by supporting Ryder. Ryder attacked him, then the match started. Sandow over Ryder with his neckbreaker.

The Peep Show was up next. Christian came out. He said that bizarre was taken to a whole new level, then showed a recap of Daniel Bryan and AJ on Raw. Bryan and AJ entered. Bryan held the ropes for her. The wedding planning is apparently going well, then we saw a clip of them planning. It was delightful and silly.

Christian asked Bryan if he was sure he was doing the right thing. Bryan said yes. AJ said she has forgiven Bryan. Christian asked if this was true love. They said yes, then the crowd chanted yes.

Christian asked the crowd if they should get married, which they chanted a yes/no mixture for. Christian asked the crowd if they thought Bryan and AJ knew what they were doing. They answered with yes/no. He asked if AJ knew what she was doing, she slapped Christian.

They went to leave and Christian announced that AJ has a psychotic ex that Bryan would be facing right now. Cue Kane to enter for a match...

3. Kane defeated Daniel Bryan (w/A.J.) by DQ. A.J. tried to interfere, which led to Bryan being disqualified. After the match, A.J. nearly kissed Kane, but she declined doing so. Bryan and A.J. kissed on the ramp in front of Kane. This could be the start of a program.

Heath Slater is out. They replayed his Raw 1000 package. He said that the one man band is on Smackdown, baby. His luck is about to change because he said it's going to. Road Warrior Animal entered to make sure that didn't happen...

4. Road Warrior Animal defeated Heath Slater. Animal won with a powerslam and an elbow drop. Fun stuff...

Vickie Guerrero yelled at Ricardo about being called a donkey earlier in the night. A comedy segment that was almost funny.

Slater is tired of the legends and challenges anyone to come get him out of the ring. Triple H's music hit. You know how this goes. Pedigree. Crowd pops huge. Done.

5. Sheamus and Rey Mysterio defeated Alberto Del Rio and Dolph Ziggler by DQ. Mysterio wore new gear - black pants with one white stripe and yellow lettering that say 619. There's a shirt attached with just one question mark on it. Fun look, since he seems to have lost weight.

Mysterio sold for most of the match before making a hot tag to Sheamus. Ricardo interfered by grabbing Sheamus, which set up for the Brogue Kick. There was a DQ finish with Mysterio and Sheamus winning, technically.

Del Rio attacked Sheamus post-match. Ziggler looked as if he was about to cash in when Mysterio kicked him, then hit the 619. Sheamus hit the Brogue kick on Ziggler. Sheamus and Mysterio celebrated to end Smackdown.

* Michael Cole comes out to a new theme song. Booker T and Lilian Garcia also come out to nice pops. They recap Sheamus defeating Alberto Del Rio at Money in the Bank. Sheamus will be in action tonight.

* Rey Mysterio kicks off SmackDown to a big pop. He talks about coming back in his hometown and talks about Alberto Del Rio. Del Rio comes out with Ricardo Rodriguez and they argue. Dolph Ziggler interrupts this and declares he will be crowned the next World Heavyweight Champion. Ziggler has words with Del Rio about getting in the way at Money in the Bank. Mysterio suggests a match between the two tonight but out comes Sheamus. Sheamus offends Rey Mysterio and they get into it. Rey goes for 619 on Ziggler but Vickie Guerrero gets in the way. A tag match is set for later tonight.

* Darren Young, Titus O'Neil, Hunico and Camacho defeated Primo, Epico, R-Truth and Kofi Kingston when Young got the pin on Primo.

* Big Show came out after the tag match and destroyed everyone with knockout punches and chokeslams. He's on a mission to destroy the WWE tag team division.

* Sheamus and Mysterio vs. Del Rio and Ziggler is made official for the main event.

* Damien Sandow defeated Zack Ryder after cutting a promo against the fans.

* Christian comes out for the Peep Show. He shows the wedding stuff from RAW with AJ Lee and Daniel Bryan. Out they come together. We see footage of them planning the wedding. Christian asks if they are really in love and Bryan says it's true love. He gets the crowd to chant yes. Christian also gets the crowd to chant yes and no. Christian announces that one of AJ's exes wants a match.

* Kane defeated Daniel Bryan by DQ when AJ interfered. AJ teased kissing Kane after the match but didn't. She left with Bryan chanting yes and they kissed on the ramp.

* Heath Slater comes out and is interrupted by Road Warrior Animal.

* Road Warrior Animal defeated Heath Slater.

* Backstage comedy segment with Ricardo and Vickie.

* Heath Slater is still in the ring and he's upset about the Legends. He issues an open challenge and it's answered by Triple H. He hits Slater with a Pedigree to end the off-camera segment.

* Rey Mysterio and Sheamus beat Dolph Ziggler and Alberto Del Rio by DQ when Ricardo interferes. Del Rio attacked Sheamus after the bell and put him in the armbreaker. Ziggler goes to cash in his MITB briefcase but Mysterio stops him. Sheamus knocks Ziggler out with a Brogue Kick and looks at Mysterio to end the show.

* New WWE Intercontinental Champion The Miz opens the show but is interrupted by Christian. Christian wants a rematch tonight and gets it.

* The Miz defeated Christian in a solid back and forth match with several near falls. Miz got the win after a quick roll up.

* Ryback defeated Jinder Mahal by count out. Mahal controlled most of the match but left the ring when Ryback started to make his comeback for the win.

* They recaps from RAW 1000.

* Sheamus vs. Cody Rhodes is next. Dolph Ziggler makes an appearance and watches from ringside. Sheamus wins with a Brogue Kick. Ziggler looks to attach Sheamus when Chris Jericho runs down. Ziggler gets beat down by Sheamus and a Codebreaker from Jericho.

* Antonio Cesaro defeats Santino Marella with help from Aksana.

* Damien Sandow squashes Yoshi Tatsu.

* Sandow cuts a promo after the match about DX. He's interrupted by Triple H who hits him with a Pedigree and a crotch chop.

* Rosa Mendes has her photoshoot crashed by AW, Darren Young and Titus O'Neil.

* The main event is up next.

Christian vs. The Miz: Christian controlling the match early. Miz recovers and goes to work. Lots of boos. Miz threw Christian out to the wall and almost wins via countout. Miz is back in control for a bit, but Christian comes around. Christian going to the mid-rope, but Miz recovers. Both battle and Miz goes down. Christian comes off the top but Miz nails him as he comes down. Crowd is behind Christian as he recovers. Christian is now in control and there are lots of two counts. Very back and forth. Good match. Crowd into it as Christian goes for the Killswitch. Miz escapes and hits his DDT. Miz to the middle rope and is pulled down. Christian is calling for spear and Miz rolls out of the ring. Both are back in the ring and it's back and forth again. Miz then rolls up Christian for the win. Miz is your winner, and still champion, via pinfall.

- There will be a four-way contender match with Kane, Alberto Del Rio, Rey Mysterio and Daniel Bryan. Cody Rhodes vs. Sheamus is also announced for tonight.

- Jinder Mahal vs. Ryback: Mahal actually laying some hits and tries for a pin. Crowd is not amused. Mahal still controlling the match. "Goldberg" chants start and Ryback takes over. He hits a solid spinebuster and Mahal rolls out of the ring and starts up the ramp. The match is over, Ryback wins by countout. Ryback is not happy and chants, "feed me more!"

- A recap is shown of the CM Punk - John Cena match from last night, all the way through the Rock coming in and getting clotheslined by Punk.

- A recap of the six man tag match from last night is shown. Sheamus comes out to a big pop. Cody Rhodes is out second and the match is on.

Sheamus vs. Cody Rhodes: Sheamus is in control though the early portion of the match. Dolph Ziggler hits the floor with the briefcase... and dropped it. Lol. Cody goes to work and Ziggler is slowly going around to the announcer table eyeballing the ring. Cody continues to work Sheamus over. A couple of kickouts, but Rhodes is still very much in control. Cody applies a headlock, but Sheamus comes alive. Rhodes finds another opportunity and hits a back flip off the top rope, But misses. Sheamus hits his back breaker. Rhodes is back in control as Ziggler gets to the ropes with the briefcase. Sheamus eventually plants Cody with the Brogue kick and gets the pin.

Ziggler slowly gets down and stares. Chris Jericho comes in from behind in a pink Ziggler shirt and throws Ziggler back in the ring and Sheamus beats him down! Jericho mocks Ziggler and nails him with the codebreaker. He rips off his shirt and mocks Ziggler as he is laying there.

- Antonio Cesaro and Aksana vs. Santino Marella: Match starts of slow. Aksana distracts Santino. Cesaro works over Santino a bit, but Santino comes alive and hits his usual moves. Cesaro gets out the cobra. Santino is distracted again by Aksana but maintains control. He fails with the Cobra, and Cesaro picks up the win.

- A clip of the DX - Damien Sandow angle from RAW is shown. Sandow is next.

- Yoshi Tatsu vs. Damien Sandow: Match starts off quickly. Sandow quickly lays waste to Tatsu and gets the win.

Sandow starts talking after the match about last night to major boos. It's so loud that we can't even hear most of what he says. He finishes by saying he was "your martyr" and "you're welcome." He does a cartwheel and bows to the fans. Triple H comes out to the ring to a monster pop. Triple H says he got caught up in the moment on RAW and apologized for "humiliating" him. Triple H then hits the Pedigree and then does a DX chop over the fallen Sandow.

- Backstage segment. AW and the Primetime Players interrupt a photo shoot with Rosa Mendes. AW takes the camera after jawing with the camera guy and starts taking pics of the Primetime Players.

- A recap is shown of the Triple H - Paul Heyman - Stephanie McMahon - Brock Lesnar segment from RAW.

- The four way match to determine the #1 contender is up next.

- Fatal 4-Way - Rey Mysterio vs. Alberto Del Rio vs. Kane vs. Daniel Bryan: All the participants go after each other and it goes outside the ring. ADR interrupts a 619 on Bryan. Lots of action. Kane looking solid and taking on Rey and Bryan. Double suplex by Kane. Kane still in control. Del Rio stops it. Del Rio and Bryan go at it. Bryan kicking Del Rio hard in the corner to tons of YES chants. Kane and Del Rio go back and forth. Kane and Bryan take it outside the ring. Bryan hits Kane over the barricade. Rey comes back in and is gaining steam against Del Rio. Bryan comes in to try and stop, but Rey get him up against the rope for the 619. Del Rio tries to stop him, but Rey hits him and sets him up right next to Bryan. Double 619 to a huge crowd pop. Rey up to the top rope and nails Bryan and goes for the pin, but Ricardo Rodriguez pulls him outside the ring. Del Rio snags the pin for the win and a huge amount of heat!

Vince McMahon announced Booker as the new general manager. Alberto Del Rio came out to talk about not competing until Summerslam. Sheamus came out and they exchanged words. Booker booked Del Rio vs Orton for later, and Sheamus vs Tensai immediately.

1. World Hvt. Champion Sheamus defeated Tensai.

Booker was backstage with Eve and she sucked up to him to get a job in his administration. Teddy Long was offered a Sr. Adviser to the GM job. Booker gave Teddy the chance to tell Eve that there are no more job openings.

2. Antonio Cesaro defeated Santino Marella in a non-title match.

Matt Striker was backstage with Daniel Bryan and he showed a recap of Monday's Raw with the doctor. Striker asked Bryan if he has any thoughts and he said no. The camera panned out and he had a "No No No" t-shirt. He told the crowd not to chant "Yes", and said that he will be saying "no" more often. Of course, the crowd chanted "yes" much to his dismay.

3. Daniel Bryan, The Miz, and Dolph Ziggler defeated Chris Jericho, Kane, and Christian in a six-man tag. The heels won when Bryan rolled up Jericho.

Striker interviewed Randy Orton backstage and welcomed him back to the show. Orton mentioned Alberto Del Rio being number one contender for the World Title. Orton said he'll defeat Del Rio tonight.

WWE announced that Survivor Series is coming to Indianapolis on Nov. 18. The password for the pre-sale is "series".

4. Ryback defeated Jinder Mahal via DQ. The disqualification came after Jinder hit him by what appeared to be a microphone. Mahal then ran up the ramp in fear of Ryback.

The Primetime Players, including AW, were shown walking backstage.

5. Darren Young (w/Titus O'Neil, A.W.) beat R-Truth. A.W. introduced his team, as usual, and used his headset mic at ringside.

Layla congratulated Booker T backstage. Cody Rhodes showed up and said he hopes that ending Booker's career earlier this year doesn't affect their working relationship. Booker booked Sin Cara vs. Rhodes for next week.

6. Randy Orton defeated Alberto Del Rio (w/Ricardo Rodriguez) by DQ. Ricardo entered the ring and attacked Orton as he was going to set up the RKO, which caused the DQ finish. They both went up the ramp when Sheamus ran down behind Del Rio, threw him inside the ring, and into Orton's RKO. Orton posed as the taping ended.

Michael Cole came out to boos. Brodus Clay's disco ball is hanging above the ring. Lilian Garcia made her entrance.

Booker T came out and discussed Sheamus stealing Alberto Del Rio's car at Raw. He said he wanted an apology from Sheamus, who made his entrance and apologized. Del Rio interrupted and wanted to press charges. He insulted Sheamus and got in Booker's face. Booker announced Sheamus vs. Del Rio for the World Hvt. Championship will take place on tonight's show.

1. Sin Cara defeated Cody Rhodes. Rhodes said Sin Cara wears a mask due to him being ugly and cockeyed. They used the stupid Sin Cara mood lighting again. A good match. Cody kept trying to get the mask off of Sin Cara, but it eventually led to him being rolled up for the pin.

2. Christian defeated Antonio Cesaro. Antonio said victory in five languages.
Christian was way over. Good match back and forth match. Cesaro shows promise. Christian speared Cesaro and got the win. Cesaro beat up Christian after the match.

3. Randy Orton defeated Jack Swagger. Orton was in control from start to finish in the short match, which ended with an RKO.

Booker T and Teddy Long spoke in an office backstage until they were interrupted by Tyler Reks and Curt Hawkins, who asked them about opportunities. Booker said they have the look, but they can't seem to get the job done by beating Ryback. Booker said he wants A-plus talent.

4. Jinder Mahal beat a pair of local wrestlers. After the match, Ryback entered and ran off Jinder. Ryback demolished the local wrestlers. The crowd was very into the "Feed Me More" chant.

Jericho introduced The Highlight Reel but was interrupted by Vickie Guerrero. Jericho called her Dolph Ziggler's mother. Dolph didn't show for the interview so Vickie stood in. Vickie threatened to walk off show. There was a recap of Dolph losing on Raw with the Tout finish. Good back and forth mic work. Well kinda, Jericho was good. He claimed that Y2J is back. Ziggler jumped the barricade and attacked Jericho from behind. Ziggler caught him with the Zigzag and then hit him with the Money in the Bank briefcase.

5. The Primetime Players (w/A.W.) defeated Primo and Epico by DQ to become No. 1 contenders to the WWE Tag Titles. Kofi Kingston and R-Truth were on commentary. There was no sign of Rosa Mendes. A.W. threw water of Kofi and Truth. The tag champs beat down AW in the ring until he escaped. The Players won the tag match via DQ. Primo and Epico looked upset with Kofi and Truth for costing them the match. Possible triple threat for the tag titles?

Eve attempted to sweet talk Booker into giving her a job, but Booker said nothing is available. Kaitlyn entered the room. She will face Eve next week with the winner of the match becoming Booker's assistant.

6. Rey Mysterio defeated The Miz in a non-title match. A very good backd and forth match. Mysterio looks and moves like he did ten years ago. Miz did well also. Mysterio won with a roll up. After the match, Triple H came out and Pedigreed The Miz in a segment that probably won't air on television.

Daniel Bryan made his entrance to major heat. Great mic work by Bryan promoting his match at SummerSlam. Kane entered and then A.J. came out to my surprise. She flirted a little and was very complimentary of Kane. She asked Bryan to shake Kane's hand and he said No!!! She demanded that he shake Kane's hand. Kane and Daniel Bryan fought a little. Bryan rolled out and jumped the barricade. A.J. was on the stage laughing. Kane exited.

7. Sheamus vs. Alberto Del Rio for the World Hvt. Championship. Del Rio wore black and it fits his character better. The police showed up to attack Sheamus before the match (apparently they were hired by Del Rio). With Sheamus down, Del Rio locked in the Cross Arm Breaker. The match never got started. The show ended with Sheamus clinching his arm.

Dark Match

1. John Cena beat Big Show and Dolph Ziggler in a handicap match. Big Johnny came out and took an AA to send the crowd home happy. Lilian Garcia thanked us and told us to drive safely.
