    I hope I've managed to open this new thread. I thought it would be good to have a sort of "homeland" thread. We tend to put pictures of Georg Ratzinger on the celebrations thread [rightly, because it's usually his birthday we are celebrating], but we can post photos of Regensburg, Pentling, the "Papal cat and dog" and family history stories or photos.
    Hope you all agree.

    Gabriella: I love the autographed photo of Monsignor Georg. His signature is so different from his brother's. His writing is quite bold and forward sloping. We all know the tiny neat, but sometimes almost illegible handwriting of his brother. [SM=g27829] [SM=g27829]

    J can confirm that this is really his signature and that J like it.
    Yes, the handwriting of the two brothers is very different, but both are interesting.
