In this book there are some occasion in which our hero faced problems only because he didn't know anything about some arguments....
An exemple was when Richard is imprisoned by Denna (He is imprisoned because he didn't know that use magic against a Mord-Sith is like sign your sentence).
Another one is when The Orden killed his bastard father and then opened a door between the worlds (if he knew that the Orden magic worked like this he probably killed his father on his own).
