RAGAZZE! LEZIONI DA UN GENIO!
While we sometimes spend hours perfecting our hairstyles, it seems we often neglect our lashes. Spending time on the lashes can be an essential step toward creating a fabulous look. Here is Sarah Dawes (also from Louisiana) with no make up.
Step 1
Look at the difference just a little concealer can do! I tweezed Sarah's brows just a tad and brushed them up but concealer is the only make up she has on in this shot. I dabbed it under her eyes, along the sides of her nose, on her chin and forehead and blended well. Notice how this simple step brightens the skin.
Step 2
Next I had her curl her lashes- my obsession! Pump the lash curler gently at the base of the lashes and walk it out slowly for a smooth curve.
Step 3
Here I used Black Volume Mascara. I created a skinny wand so I could reach every single hair around the eye. I first blot the wand with a tissue (a trick I've used since I first began makeup artistry). Starting at the very base of the lash, I gently wiggle the wand back and forth to create volume. Next, sweep the mascara out to the end of the lashes. A magnifying mirror is perfect for this intricate procedure. You can do this as many or as few times as you like depending on the length and volume you want to achieve
Step 4
For a doe-eyed look, work the inner and outer lashes with the very tip of the wand
Step 5
When applying mascara to the bottom (again, after blotting the wand) I wag the wand along the lower lashes
Step 6
Again, work the inner and outer lashes with the tip.
