anche Tim Brown ha ottenuto un nuovo contratto 'orripilante ' , questo per 'sistemare' (si fa' per dire ) l'orripilante situazione di cap dei Raiders che hanno dovuto rilasciare 6 giovani giocatori della difesa ... Orripilante !!

Beh, a me sembra che se serve a riuscire ad arrivare al Superbowl, anche perdendolo, non mi pare che il sistema di contratti dei Raiders sia così negativo. Ma ognuno la pensa come vuole.

è avete preso anche Stubblefield... vabbè che la baia è sempre la baia ma non può andarvi sempre bene con gli ex... ci sono anche i Mirer...

Raiders Sign Stubblefield

The Oakland Raiders have signed defensive tackle Dana Stubblefield, a three-time Pro Bowler who was NFL Defensive Player of the Year in 1997 and NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year in 1993.
The 32-year old Stubblefield has played in 146 league contests in 10 pro seasons - seven with the San Francisco 49ers and three with the Washington Redskins. His career totals include 331 tackles, 53.5 sacks and two interceptions.

Sì sono io e sono tornato
Mi sono risvegliato solo oggi in una stanza con un Tv acceso, un decoder, alcune bottiglie di birra vuote per terra e un gran mal di testa....ma che è successo?, ricordo solo che stavo guardando la finale di Football di San Diego, qualche frammento del primo quarto e poi più nulla!.
Che strano mi spiace molto, soprattutto perchè non ho potuto fare festa con i ragazzi, i "Predoni", per l'annunciata vittoria.
Pazienza dopo quasi 20 anni di attesa la festa era stata organizzata proprio bene...eccomi qua nuova stagione con il titolo in bacheca certo non si può vincere sempre, però anche quest'anno il trofeo del caro Vince potrebbe fare rotta verso la Baia, sponda Oakland si intende.
Un attimino.....ricordo qualcosa, un lancio di Gannon...preciso come al solito e poi....no! NO! non è Rice quello!, ma chi l'ha preso????, un bisonte bianco con il 40...fermalo Harris! NO! e quei tizi vestiti da buffoni con il teschio cosa fanno con il mio trofeo?? ma quello è un turista non può essere un Quarterback! OMMIODIO NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!.....................

Raiders Sign Ronney Jenkins




The Oakland Raiders have signed running back/kick returner Ronney Jenkins, who in just three NFL seasons became the San Diego Chargers' all-time kickoff return yardage leader (3,997). The 25-year-old Jenkins has played in 45 league games in three seasons with San Diego since entering the NFL as a rookie free agent with the Chargers in 2000

The Oakland Raiders have re-signed quarterback Rick Mirer and signed running backs Chris Hetherington and Cecil Martin. Mirer spent 2002 with the Raiders and is a 10-year NFL veteran, Hetherington spent 2002 with the St. Louis Rams while Martin played for the Philadelphia Eagles the last four seasons.

Dove sarebbe pubblicata questa notizia ?

sul sito dei Niners di espn.com o sul relativo dei raiders (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/clubhouse?team=oak)
probabilmente nfl.com non ha ritenuto il giocatore così indispensabile anche se, probabilmente (detto da analisti di espn) si giocherebbe il ruolo di nickel back e sarebbe molto importante negli sp teams....
i raiders mi piacciono (anche se stanno dalla parte della baia sbagliata...) per cui mi auguro che per il ruolo di nb ci sia qualcosa di meglio in roster... (ps. Buchanon?...)

Ecco la notizia tratta dal sito da te indicatomi, dato che nemmeno oggi c'è scritto nulla nel sito ufficiale, dove l'attenzione è rivolta al processo che vede i Raiders contro i gestori dell'Alameda Coliseum.

"Veteran CB Anthony Parker, released by San Francisco two months ago, on April 14 signed a one-year contract for $375,000. Parker, 26, missed the entire 2002 season after suffering a torn quadriceps in training camp and requiring surgery to repair it. The Raiders feel he can compete for a 'nickel' spot and also contribute on special teams. A fourth-round choice in the 1999 draft, Parker played in 21 games for the 49ers during his tenure there."
