As you can see, we have decided to use a fix funding campaign instead of the flexible one most artists are using. Why? Because, the amount you see at the top is the exact and minimum amount we need to secure our project. If we don't reach that objective, we won't be able to put out the album the way it deserves to be. We don't want to keep your money if there is no chance for the album to be released. It just wouldn't make any sense to us. Simply put, if the goal is not met, the album will be shelved, but at least, you will all get your money back. This is not some Wall Street venture investment!!! You are not taking any risk.

Here is a little update.
If you are not following Handful of Snowdrops on Facebook, some of you may not know that we have been unbelievably lucky to reach our fundraising campaign goal in record time, thanks to some overwhelmingly generous fans, to whom we will forever be grateful. Yes, in only a couple days, some of the most devoted and loyal fans most artists can only dream of having, have gone out of their way to ensure we would be able to go through with this project. Only a little over two weeks ago, we thought there were very few chances, if any, for this album to be finished and released, and here we are now, working hard at it, but with the added luxury we call peace of mind. Amazing.

Still, we can't help but being a little puzzled by the fact that only 70 people want to ear a new Handful of Snowdrops album, enough to contribute, if only a few dollars. The Impossible Dream

Dear HoS friends,

Today, June 5th, Bandcamp is once again waiving their share to the artists for 24 hours, from Midnight to Midnight (Pacific Time) or 03:00 A.M. (Easter Daylight Time).

I chose this date for the one day only pre-sale of "The Impossible Dream" EP.
As 'Asymmetrical' and 'The Four Winds' before, this 4 track EP is mostly composed of material meant for "Blanc", the alter ego and follow up album to "Noir". This third EP not only completes "Blanc", it's also the last one I expect to release, as going forward with this project appears to be financially impossible. I plan to make a printable PDF cover design for anyone wanting to make a personal and home made copy of "Blanc".

Furthermore, and by popular demand, I will also give everyone a second chance to get the "Watch Me Bleed / Theme For Great Cities" covers Double Single. Don't miss it!

The Impossible Dream Postponed


Friends,

The stars are conspiring again, so It’s not without considerable disappointment that I must postpone the release of “The Impossible Dream”, which was scheduled for next Friday, July 3rd, by a week. The new release date is now July 10th. Nevertheless, the good news is that those who missed their chance to acquire a copy on the initial presale, will now get another shot at it on July 3rd during the next Bandcamp Friday! Additionally, a 5th track has been added. Confused yet? :D So mark your calendars and set your alarms and head to HoS' Bandcamp page this Friday if you haven't secured a copy yet!

I’m truly sorry about the delay and I’m so grateful for your patience. Please hang in there, HoS intends to go out with a bang! I know some of you don’t like me mentioning the end, but somehow “go on indefinite hiatus with a bang” doesn’t have the same impact. :-D
