Your top albums of 2008

OK..It's been a wild run with Duran Duran this year..

beside that..what would you pick as your top albums of this year,by other artists..

mine would definitely start with:

1.Keane-Perfect Symetry-recently I have purchased their live DVD. The singer reminds alot on Simon...Their live performance is amazing. What I like about them is that they are a band that made 2 albums with absolutely no guitars and it sounded perfect.. In all this caos of music industry i found them to be very ..glamoures lets say...

2.Amy Mcdonald is my second choice and her album This is the life...

3.Kings Of Leon-only by the night..an opening track is brilliant..they kind of remind me of INXS..

4.Grace Jones-brilliant comeback album..

5.The Verve with the album FORTH

6.Coldplay-Viva La Vida.. I ended buying the LP,2 CDEP and regular Cd of this album. I love it

7.TV on The Radio- by recomendation of our dear John on his blog..

these are the artists that came to my mind this moment..I will think of some more soon...

What I wanted and expected in this year..was more singles from Duran..unfortunately all that sanked and flopped by some reason...I hope they will walk their walk through this and make more albums in future...

OH Yes, i recently heard a new single of Simply Red- Go Now.. Sarah Brown is in the video..

oh..i agree with you! i love coldplay!!! i've been in bologna this year for the concert,29 september(in italy we put at 1st place the day and then the month )and it was brillant..while we were waiting outside the doors it happened a curious thing: some girls were singing NOTORIOUS and WILD BOYS!!! .i also bought duffy's album "rockferry" that JT recomended and i like it..i wanted to go to milan in november to see her concert but i couldn't. but let me tell you.. i like all type of music but I LOVE DURAN DURAN!!!
