Trio canadese composto dal chitarrista/vocalist Rik Emmett (famoso ai tempi perchè scriveva su Guitar Player), dal bassista/tastierista Mike Levine, e dal batterista/cantante Gil Moore, autori di un solido hard rock sostenuto dalla chitarra di Emmett, tra il 1976 ed il 1987 hanno prodotto una decina di ottimi album, come "Rock'N Roll Machine" del 1977, "Allied Forces" del 1981 e "Never Surrender" del 1983, che valse loro la partecipazione al festival inglese "Heavy Metal Holocaust", ed in USA insieme a Judas Priest, Van Halen, Scorpions, Motley Crue e Quiet Riot...

La Frontiers Records farà uscire il 14 maggio "Greatest Hits Remixed" dei Triumph, un doppio cd che conterrà 14 brani remixati da Rich Chycki (AEROSMITH, RUSH). Il disco sarà anticipato dal singolo inedito "Love Hurts", mentre il DVD allegato conterrà 11 video tra clip ufficiali e live, oltre alla cerimonia di ingresso nella Canadian Music Hall of Fame del 2008.
