It is my favorite time of year; I love the smell of the air, the damp autumn evenings and the sound the leaves make when they crackle under my feet as I walk in the backyard. People start burning fires - regardless of the environment - and I love the smell.
Not only is the 5th of November coming - Remember, remember the Fifth of November,the Gunpowder Treason and Plot - it is also time for my birthday, 27th of October, Night of the Phoenix for me and my father, who I share a birth date with.
Thank you to all that have sent cards, presents and well wishes of a happy birthday. They always jolly up my life.
If you fancy it, buy yourself a drink, stand outside in the late October air, raise your glass and say “Fe Fi Fo Fum. I smell the blood of an Englishman.”

È il mio periodo preferito dell'anno; amo l'odore dell'aria, le sere umide dell'autunno ed il rumore che fanno le foglie quando crepitano sotto i miei piedi quando cammino nel cortile posteriore. Le persone cominciano ad accendere i fuochi - nonostante l'ambiente - ed io ne amo l'odore.
Non è solo l'arrivo del 5 novembre - Ricorda, ricorda il 5 di November, la Polvere da sparo Tradimento e Trama - è anche il periodo del mio compleanno, 27 ottobre, notte della Phoenix per me e mio padre con il quale divido la data di nascita.
Grazie a tutti coloro che mi hanno spedito cartoline, regali e auguri di un Buon Compleanno. Rallegrano sempre la mia vita.
Prova ad immaginare, di comprare una bibita, stare in piedi fuori nell'aria di fine ottobre, solleva la bottiglia e dì “Fe Fi Fo Fum. Sento l'odore del sangue di un inglese.”
