A video is played, hyping the upcoming Triple H vs The Rock match.
The 3 members of New World Order are backstage. They spent the interview talking about how great they are. I can do that too, you know. If I wanted to hear someone else do it, I'd go rent a crappy shoot interview.
Dudley Boyz vs Booker T & Rob Van Dam.

Match Background: Dudley Boyz are one of the most experienced teams in the promotion. This match is for the World Tag Team titles. Dudley Boyz have been World Tag Team champions since 26 December 2005.

The Match: D-Von strikes away at Rob Van Dam, not doing much damage at all. Big kick from D-Von staggers RVD but that's about it. Hooks the leg for a two count. D-Von tags out to Bubba Ray Dudley. Dudley Boyz hook up RVD, then hit a double suplex. Covers for a quick two count. Fallaway slam by Bubba Ray Dudley puts down Rob Van Dam. Rob Van Dam powers out of a Bubba Ray Dudley headlock. Bubba takes a NICE hurrancarana from Rob Van Dam. There's a two count on the pin. Tag to Booker T. Bubba walks into a side slam. Think about how much talent it takes to side slam someone. Nash can do it. Pin, but Bubba is out just before the three count. Rude Awakening neckbreaker on Bubba Ray Dudley by Booker. Remember when that was a legit finish? Bubba Ray Dudley comes up with a right hand out of nowhere. Bodyslam by Bubba. Tag to D-Von Dudley. Booker T takes a right hand to the temple from D-Von. I bet those hurt more than Sgt. Slaughter's Noogies. Tag between Booker T and Rob Van Dam. Running clothesline from D-Von Dudley was actually MIGHTY sloppy. Rob Van Dam is all alone...3D!! 1....2....3! Outsiders come running down into the ring. They nail Booker T from behind, then grab RVD and hit the Double DDT! With him out of the way, the drag Booker T to the outside...and promptly put him straight through the announcer's table with a double slam! Outsiders have destroyed Booker T & Rob Van Dam!
Hulk Hogan is backstage. I'm actually looking forward to this and you should too! He was trying to turn heel in the interview. Remind me to turn heel on you later for that. What's that I see? A barber shop? That'll do just nicely.
The Rock is backstage. He always delivers the promo goodness. He was out there to tell Triple H that he was going to discombobulate him. Great, now I've got to look that word up. Time to sit back and watch.
Randy Orton vs Edge.

Match Background: This match is for the WWE Intercontinental title. Randy Orton has been WWE Intercontinental champion since 19 June 2005.

The Match: Edge walks into a side slam. Think about how much talent it takes to side slam someone. Nash can do it. Ric Flair comes running down the aisle and onto the apron! Edge turns...and is dropped throat-first onto the top rope by Flair! Ric Flair has left Edge in big trouble. Randy Orton moves in for the kill. RKO! 1....2....3. Randy Orton, having taken the victory thanks to the outside interference of Ric Flair, goes over and shakes hands with him, showing that their plan was a success.
Chris Jericho vs Christian.

Match Background: None.

The Match: Hard impact Russian Leg Sweep by Christian. According to some other reviewers around here, 'legsweep' is one word. Jericho takes a NICE hurrancarana from Christian. There's a two count on the pin. Chris Jericho once again takes the advantage after blocking a few punches and connecting with some forearms. Christian gets caught with a belly to belly suplex from Jericho! Christian takes a flying neckbreaker from Chris Jericho. There's a two count on the pin. Vicious kick to the teeth from Chris Jericho. Cover, ONE...TWO...NO! I honestly thought that match was going to end right then and there. Christian charges into the corner, but EATS BOOT and staggers backward. Christian powers out of a Chris Jericho headlock. Reverse DDT on Jericho. Hooks the leg for a two count. DDT from the top rope by Christian. That looked KILLER. Hooks the leg! ONE...TWO...NO! Vertical suplex by Christian. Christian drives a HARD forearm into the chest of Jericho. Jericho blocks a kick from Christian. Implant DDT by Chris Jericho! I will always and forever mark out for that move. Springboard dropkick from Chris Jericho. Nicely done. Chris Jericho has Christian down on the canvas. Lion Sault! 1....2....3. Chris Benoit comes running down the aisle, and gets into the ring! Chris Benoit drops Jericho to the canvas. Chris Benoit quickly locks on the Crippler Crossface! Chris Jericho has been left down on the canvas.
Shawn Michaels is backstage. He talked trash about Steve Austin. Good build up.
Triple H is backstage. He talked trash about The Rock. Good build up.
Shawn Michaels vs Steve Austin.

Match Background: This match is for the WWE Hardcore title. Shawn Michaels has been WWE Hardcore champion since 20 February 2006.

The Match: Stone Cold gets slammed down hard and winces in pain. HBK goes for a splash but Stone Cold puts the knees up. Shawn Michaels takes a right hand to the temple from Stone Cold. I bet those hurt more than Sgt. Slaughter's Noogies. The referee bumps after catching a wild right hand and is down. Side suplex from Stone Cold. Pinfall attempt, but the ref is out and can't count to three! Shawn Michaels avoids a Steve Austin avalanche by getting out of the damn way! Steve Austin charges into the corner, but EATS BOOT and staggers backward. Nice piledriver on Stone Cold. Covers for a quick two count. DEATH VALLEY DRIVAH~! by Shawn Michaels just KILLS Steve Austin! Hooks the leg! ONE...TWO...NO! Steve Austin pulls a mule kick out of nowhere. Powerslam from Steve Austin on HBK. Pinfall attempt: ONE...TWO...NO! HBK flips out of a Steve Austin bodyslam attempt. Steve Austin can barely stand. Here it comes - Sweet Chin Music. 1....2...3, it's finished. Bret Hart has a chair. HBK turns and takes a brutal shot to the head. Stone Cold is next to take a hard shot. Hitman has demolished everyone!
Triple H vs The Rock.

Match Background: Triple H is the reigning World Heavyweight champion, and has been since 02 May 2005.

The Match: Rude Awakening neckbreaker on The Rock by HHH. Remember when that was a legit finish? Massive backbreaker on Rock and I get happy flashbacks to Bret Hart's Five Moves of DOOM. Covers for a quick two count. The Rock once again takes the advantage after blocking a few punches and connecting with some forearms. HHH gets slammed down hard and winces in pain. Triple H charges into the corner, but EATS BOOT and staggers backward. Covers for a quick two count. Spear! HHH is down! Pinfall attempt: ONE...TWO...NO! The Rock with a spinning neckbreaker on HHH. HHH counters a backdrop attempt with a kick to the face and hit a clothesline! Spear by Triple H. Hooks the leg for a two count. Triple H scores with a standing spinebuster. Cover, ONE...TWO...NO! I honestly thought that match was going to end right then and there. Bodyslam by HHH. Rock gets slammed down hard and winces in pain. Rock blocks a kick from Triple H. Flying shoulder tackle by Rock sends HHH CRASHING to the mat. Death valley driver by The Rock! No one executes that move properly anymore. Brock Lesnar comes running down the aisle with a chair! Rock and Triple H continue fighting, unaware of the intrusion. Brock Lesnar slides in and blasts Triple H with a chair to the head! Lesnar climbs out of the ring, the damage done! The Rock moves in for the kill. Here it comes - Rock Bottom. 1....2...3, it's finished. Brock Lesnar pushes the referee aside, then continues to assault HHH! Right hands rain down on Triple H, pounding him into the canvas. Satisfied with his work, Brock Lesnar turns and leaves the ring, the damage done.
