Manutenzione ordinaria

Finalmente la sessione d'esami estiva sta per terminare, e la settimana prossima si torna a casa dalla 320i!

Come già preventivato dovrò far fare dei lavoretti: gomme e giunto viscoso della ventola di raffreddamento.

Mi sorge però un dubbio: ad Agosto 2006 ho fatto fare un mega tagliandone, e tra le altre cose ho fatto cambiare le candele, il filtro aria, il filtro olio, l'olio, etc.
Da Agosto ho fatto 11000 km, e mi chiedevo se fosse il caso di provvedere alla sostituzione dei particolari fatti sostituire un anno fa: non so infatti ogni quanto andrebbero cambiate le candele, o i filtri.
L'olio immagino che possa rimanere, d'altronde ogni 1000-1200 km ne ho aggiunto un litro nuovo, quindi non credo che sia "vecchio".

A vostro parere, in previsione dei parecchi chilometri che percorrerò questa estate, anche per lunghi viaggi, devo sostituire qualcosa, o posso fare tranquillamente altri 5-6000 km?

P.S. Ho visto che i giunti viscosi per la ventola di raffreddamento possono essere comprati vantaggiosamente via e-bay: se volessi però cercarli in un qualunque ricambista qui in Italia, cosa dovrei chiedere di preciso?
C'è qualche codice particolare che li determina con precisione?

Maintenance schedule
The following maintenance intervals are based on the assumption
that the vehicle owner will be doing the maintenance or service work,
as opposed to having a dealer service department do the work.
Although the time/mileage intervals are loosely based on factory recommendations,
most have been shortened to ensure, for example, that
such items as lubricants and fluids are checked/changed at intervals
that promote maximum engine/driveline service life. Also, subject to
the preference of the individual owner interested in keeping his or her
vehicle in peak condition at all times, and with the vehicle’s ultimate
resale in mind, many of the maintenance procedures may be
performed more often than recommended in the following schedule.
We encourage such owner initiative. When the vehicle is new, it should be serviced initially by a factoryauthorised
dealer service department, to protect the factory warranty.
In many cases, the initial maintenance check is done at no cost to the owner (check with your dealer service department for more
information).
Maintenance and servicing
Every 250 miles or weekly, whichever
comes first
- Check the engine oil level
- Check the engine coolant level
- Check the brake fluid level)
- Check the clutch fluid level
- Check the washer fluid level
- Check the tyres and tyre pressures
Every 6000 miles or 6 months,whichever comes first
All items listed above, plus:
- Change the engine oil and oil filter
- Check the power steering fluid level
- Check the tyres, and rotate if necessary
- Check the automatic transmission fluid level
- Check the underbonnet hoses
- Check/adjust the drivebelts
- Check engine idle speed and CO
Every 12 000 miles or 12 months,
whichever comes first All items listed above, plus:
- Check/service the battery
- Check the spark plugs
- Check/renew the HT leads, distributor cap and rotor
- Check/top-up the manual transmission lubricant
- Check the differential oil level
- Check the valve clearances, and adjust if necessary - does not apply to M40 engines
- Check and lubricate the throttle lincage
- Renew the air filter
- Check the fuel system
- Inspect the cooling system
- Inspect the exhaust system
- Inspect the steering and suspension components
- Check the driveshaft gaiter(s)
- Inspect the brakes
- Inspect/renew the windscreen wiper blades
Every 24 000 miles or 2 years, whichever comes first
All items listed above plus:
- Change the automatic transmission fluid and filter
- Drain, flush and refill the cooling system
- Renew the spark plugs
- Check/renew the spark plug HT leads
- Renew the fuel filter
- Change the manual transmission lubricant
- Change the differential oil
- Check the evaporative emissions system, where applicable
- Reset the service indicator lights
- Renew brake fluid by bleeding
- Check the handbrake operation
Every 60 000 miles
- Renew the timing belt

Mi solleva il fatto di non dover cambiare troppe cose, controllerò le candele e vedrò il da farsi con l'olio!

Vediamo quello che riesco a trovare per il giunto viscoso, ma se non riesco a trovarlo ad un prezzo leggermente minore, mi sa tanto che lo prenderò via e-bay!

Ho cercato da qualche ricambista di zona, e il prezzo che mi hanno preventivato per il pezzo originale Sachs è di 150 euro!

Come consigliato, allora, ho deciso di rivolgermi a e-bay.

Dato che però non conosco il tedesco, chi sa darmi qualche informazione sul modo di vendita di questi negozi che vendono i giunti?

Soprattutto informazioni riguardanti il pagamento etc.
Non ho mai usato e-bay, e non so veramente come muovermi!

Pensavo di mandare una mail di informazioni al venditore, posso scrivere tranquillamente in inglese?

Chiedi pure in inglese di norma i tedeschi lo parlano e non hanno difficoltà.
Il pagamento puoi farlo mediante bonifico bancario, semplice e sicuro oppure con paypal se il venditore la preferisce (con paypal puoi usare la carta di credito, meglio se di quelle ricaricabili tipo postepay)...
Accertati, chiedendolo al venditore, dell'ammontare delle spese di spedizione.

C'è sempre una prima volta...

Ho chiesto a due venditori, uno mi ha risposto in inglese, l'altro continua a mandarmi lo stesso messaggio in tedesco, immagino che sia in vacanza e quello sia una sorta di auto messaggio.

Quello che mi ha risposto vuole un pagamento via bonifico, devo solo informarmi riguardo la sicurezza e le modalità di tale pagamento, poi è fatta.

Non mi ha parlato però di spese di spedizione, gli chiederò subito informazioni a riguardo!
