Loyalist Willie Frazer said today (27th Feb) that he and his loyalist group,'Love Ulster' will return to Dublin this year.
In an interview with 'the Sun' English paper,
Willie Frazer said that in the wake of the recent Ireland-England rugby game at Croke Park the stage was set for a second march in Dublin city centre.
Willie Frazer said ''We (Love Ulster) will go back to Dublin this year..We have talked to Gardaí and we agreed with them that situation is now right after the rugby match''
''It would be great to end the marching season up with a parade in Dublin in September'' the loyalist concluded.
Micheal McDowell has said that if loyalists wanted to march in the capital then the government would not oppose it.
The Sun said that ''A republican mob stopped the first rally last Febuary in a three-hour orgy of violence. At least 500 thugs hurled petrol bombs and masonry, tourched cars, looted shops and ran amok.''
The newspaper went on to say that ''The riot was allegedly orchestrated by Republican Sinn Féin hardmen'',and that ''Up to 100 hooligans from Northern Irelnad
(sic, ndr) were bussed in to provide extra muscle.''
