Evanescence to release new album in October
Evanescence vocalist Amy Lee has revealed that the band will release their follow-up to 2006's The Open Door in October.
The band entered the studio in April with producer Nick Raskulinecz (Foo Fighters, Rush, Stone Sour) and, as previously reported, Amy has also confirmed that former guitarist Troy McLawhorn has returned to the band. McLawhorn toured with the band in 2007.
"Yes! I'm proud to announce that Troy is back in Ev!" writes the vocalist in a post on Twitter. "We love you Troy! Welcome back."
