È un periodo, questo, in cui sembra che dalla Scozia provengano solo ottime band, che siano epigoni dei Franz Ferdinand e delle loro sonorità new wave, o dei Belle & Sebastien e il loro indie pop.
I Zephyrs, come i Sons & Daughters si collocano a metà strada tra queste due band. Sonorità indie, tra il rock e il pop, gli Zephyrs verranno in Italia a presentare il loro terzo album (in quattro anni), "Bright Yellow Flowers on a Dark Double Bed".
