Dopo un pomeriggio in irc con gli hunters dei codici mi ha scritto una mail Tamyrlin, l'admin di theoryland, che vi incollo qua sotto:
Hey Axel,
Yeah – I was hoping to get better communication between the sites, especially the international ones. For myself, I’m fluent in Spanish but no additional languages, so it’s tough for me to go searching and to find anything useful. I feel bad that I haven’t done this before now (as it’s going on thirteen years now with Theoryland), but I hope to spotlight some sites and get links up and find other wheel of time related forums/sites from other countries. I was hoping you guys could help to send me links and contact information, so when stuff like this Hunt happen, and prologues are released and other news comes our way, I can keep you guys on the list. Of course, I’m sure you probably go out and get this information from other sites, but it would be nice if Brandon does more international events, as I’m sure he will, to have some fan groups we can depend on.
Do you know who runs other WoT Italian sites? How about the forum(s)? How long have you been a member, reader of WoT? And is there a good way to get a list of emails of other italians on the forums – might be nice to put together a forwarding list.
Anyway – nice to meet you. Send me some links so I can add them on Theoryland.

Condivido le parole di Tamyrlin, una cooperazione tra le varie community sarebbe il massimo, come lo sarebbero altri di questi eventi internazionali!
Purtroppo il forum non è mai stato troppo spinto in senso internazionale...
c'è sempre stata una paura matta verso possibili spoiler della direzione di allora, vista la grande differenza di libri pubblicati allora... ormai siamo quasi pari e possiamo lasciarci indietro questi timori.
Questa chiusura non ci ha mai fatto collaborare con altri siti de La Ruota in italiano (ma manco in inglese in verità), non che siano miriadi, ma sicuramente c'è almeno un forum a quanto so, a cui alcuni nostri utenti partecipano.
Certo il fatto che cercando sui motori di ricerca i primi risultati sono nell'ordine
-la voce su wikipedia
-il nostro forum
-un sito vecchissimo se non ricordo male è stato fatto da Lord Drago
-la voce su nonciclopedia
-un forum di un gilda di MMORPG... per la precisione Guild Wars
poi fuffa varia...
e in seconda pagina finalmente...
-la pagina del gruppo su facebook
-la wiki su wikia.com fatta da me, inattiva da tempo ahime!
non aiuta molto questa situazione.
Il poco che c'è è molto slegato.
Se siete a conoscenza di link di siti italiani, forum , eccetera, linkate pure così nella risposta che preparo per Tamyrlin posso fargli un elenco. Che siano siti attivi mi raccomando! Se no che figura ci facciamo!

Era ora che si collaborasse tutti, italiani e stranieri, sono molto contenta!
Tempo fa ho mandato una mail a chi si occupa dell'ency x sapere se potevo prenderla in considerazione x tradurla in un sito italiano (che avevo iniziato a fare ma che per motivi di tempo e di linea è rimasto nel limbo), ma il tipo mi ha detto che nn potevano darmi il permesso ![[SM=x494532]](http://laruotadeltempo.altervista.org/_altervista_ht/wot_forum/smilini/perplexed.gif) In ogni caso, ci ho tenuto a dirgli che ovviamente nn avrei copiato x filo e x segno tutto il lavoro di un altro, ma l'avrei solo usato come "base" x avere un aiutino. Anche io ho sempre voluto fare una versione italiana dell'Enciclopedia, infatti ho approntato una wiki.
solo che è da tanto che non ci lavoro, infatti è inattiva, potremmo dividerci il lavoro tra chi ha voglia :D

Mi piacerebbe (se avessi tempo) aiutare nella traduzione, perchè non credo di essere molto ferrato (come molti di voi) su tutto e tutto di WoT (come quando ho letto i primi libri tutti di fila, ma adesso qualche memoria, ahimè, sta svanendo...) Sarebbe bellissimo avere un'enciclopedia anche in italiano.
Ho dato un'occhiata a quella inglese, ma purtroppo la mia conoscenza delle lingue straniere è molto limitata e quindi sono spesso in difficoltà. Da quello che ho capito, mi è sembrata davvero completa ed interessante.
