I'm back to Japan yesterday. I miss italy..............

your question, at New Year's Day, almost people stay at their home from before the new year's day. we watch television (there are many special tv programs at then) and wait the new year's day coming. Some of people try to see the sunrise at early in the morning at the new year's day. But I didnt see it still now Im not good at get up early. And almost people go to the shrine we hope it will be happy in new years also! Usually while new years holidays we stay at our home or go to the hometown, meet the family and friends.Children is happy, they receive some money from their parents, grandparents and also anybody adults!

We had a big earthquake It was terrible. We are ok! Our city is ok. It happened in Niigata, the east of Japan, our city is west Japan "kansai". But now there were 24 people died and over 2,000 people injured...... In this year it is very strange.......
In Italy also has earthquake?

in my town last earthquake as been 2 years ago

We Japanese has complex of speaking English. We are learning English at junior highschool and highschool and also university. But almost Japanese can't speak English well. So we want to go learning school of English conversation. If you come to Japan, you can to know there are many English conversation classes here.

There is a funny comercial English conversation class at tv in Japan. A young guy in the airplane, so an old stewardess was getting close to him and she was asking to each passengers what does they want to eat,"Fish or Chicken?" So young Japanese boy was thinking how does he say in English. He decided to say "Chicken Please!" he was so nervous to say this An old, big and so scarly face stewardess asked him "Fish or Chicken?" he said "CHICKEN PLEASE!!" BUT she answered,"FISH ONLY!!"

I am teaching Japanese to American boy who is living in my city.
He is a English teacher of junior highschool near my house. He said that sometime his students is sleeping at his English class. so he made some rules with students. It is that if some students sleeping, he asked them "Fish or Chicken?" the students who is sleeping has to answer to him "Chicken please!", but he answer to them "FISH ONLY!!"

Tonight I cooked Sanma (Japanese fish name). It is slender and long fish and very oishii And we eat this especially in the autumn! Now is good season of sanma fish But I'm not good at use chopsticks though I'm Japanese Especialy eating fish. Sasuke was good at chopsticks at my house He was a great chopsticker at eating fish!
