In Germany we seem to have spring already. So, I think there won't be any snow until winter again.
So, I would also love to see a pic |

Time to relax after the second horrible dental appointment this week - I've got another one on Thursday.
I wonder what music you like, classical, pop music or jazz? Maybe the opera or hiphop?
I'm not the person who buys cds all the time, I prefer listening to the radio. My favourite singer is Marc Anthony, although I'm not necessarily a friend of latin pop. I also like French chansons e.g. Edith Piaff, Juliette Greco, Alain Barriere and I love Mozart and Bach. A good mixture, isn't it? : |

I hate the dentist and I rarely went there, only when I really, really, really had to.
I like all kinds of songs from all kinds of genres except jazz.I don't really like opera or ballet(it's hard for me to listen to one whole piece) but I do enjoy some parts of different pieces.I lik Strauss and Mozart and I love to listen to a good waltz.
Mostly I listen to modern music from Rock (Linkin Park,Within Temptation,Nightwish, some Rasmus and even Rammstein)to Enya or R&B ,the new types of songs like the ones Nelly Furtado sings for example and The Black Eyed Peas.I listen to some latino like the new song from Jennifer Lopez, some Juanes,David Bisbal. So,I pretty much listen to all kinds of things |

Dentist? Poor Jil!
The last time I went, I had to have teeth surgically removed.
For music, I listen to whatever I'm in the mood for.

Yes, I also do like J.Lo - and she is so beautiful!
A whole opera is quite long I agree, it would be nicer just to listen so some favourite pieces, eg. Nessun Dorma or Oh mio bambino caro.
In Germany we are just watching Pop Idol No 4 - that's really entertaining from time to time.
Today I have no dental appointment, tomorrow again. Apparently I needed new fillings. The funny thing is I went to so many dentist over the last three years and everyone tells me something different. So, ada, you're probably not wrong when you just go there if you can't avoid it. My brother is the same. Now it's too late for me.
phoenix,
I am sure that was painful, wasn't it?

It wasn't really all that bad. The toothache was worse. I broke a molar eating a donut( )and it became infected. I was put to sleep for the procedure, but the wound took a while to heal. I had to bite down on tea bags for a few days.
LOL, My Mom loves to watch American Idol. I miss watching Star Search, it had more variety. Yay for break-dancers!!!

[DIM]11pt[=DIM I was put to sleep for the procedure,]
I didn't know this was possible. Maybe I suggest it to my dentist tomorrow. But I'm sure you would have to pay extra for this - unfortunately they charge you for everything nowadays.

I had an oral surgeon do the procedure. They gave me an IV type thing, and it felt like a pinch and then I was out. The nurse woke me up about 20 minutes later and my mouth was full of gauze and it was totally numb.
I'm not sure if a dentist can put you to sleep like that. Maybe they can. I bet it's pretty expensive nowadays. I had that procedure done about 8 years ago. I'd still find out from your dentist though. Good luck tomorrow.

all this dentist talk is bringing back ugly memories. I have some kind of panic attacks when at the dentist ,I shiver and my heart pounds hard like it's going to explode or something but luckily I have a nice dentist that I really don't visit often(actually I didn't go for over a year).

Oh no!! I don't want you to feel bad. I used to have panic attacks too, but school used to cause me to have them. I wasn't a very good student. How's schooling going for you?

I know that I was a very lazy student. Now I am sorry for that because I surely could have done better. Now I enjoy learning and teaching. |

I must be one of the laziest people in the world ! I almost never study at home ,I just can't,I either fall asleep or I quickly find some other activity :D BUT the best thing is that I have an amazing memory. For example I think I know about 300 songs by heart after only listening to them a few times and with no intention of actually memorizing them, I remember a lot of lines from movies, names, tel. numbers, facts and if I pay attention at the courses then I will surely remember a lot from what the teacher said(sadly now in university it's really boring and I find myself half asleep most of the time). |

I feel the same way Jil, I was a very lazy student. I wish that I took school much more seriously. I do have a love of reading, and I really enjoy and appreciate reading books that I had to read for school.(But I hated at the time)I just think that I had to mature a bit.

LOL!!! I think I'm the same. Although I think I remember useless things, like the name of my best friend's dog in Kindergarten, and the lyrics to the theme song of the "Fresh Prince of Bel-Air"

phoenix,
I absolutely hated history and politics at school, maybe because of the teacher (ok, I know everybody says that), but the minute I had left school I became interested in these things. We are strange human beings, aren't we?

They let us go home at noon. This was taken from the balcony of my apartment
Same view within an hour. You can't really see it but the snow was really coming down and the wind had kicked up
