I am re-posting this here from the "Hooray I logged in..." section for the convenience of those who may want to register -which I imagine everyone does. Unlike e-z-board which has commercial solicitations built into the resgistration process, freeforumzone (FFZ) does not.
I just spent about 45 minutes going through the registration documents and realizing right away that to do a full translation would require some work. So, first let me answer the specific questions that have been posed:

The agreement that you had to say Yes to in order to register is boilerplate forum agreement. The major difference perhaps from what we sign up for in the USA is that the agreement is to be adjudicated under Italian law. The headings are self-explanatory: #-1 Acceptance of terms; #2- Service offered by FreeForumZone(FFZ)- mainly that user will not hold FFZ responsible for any interruption or inaccessiblity of the service, for the inacessibility of particular forums; for the impossibility of transmitting messages through it at times; for the cancellation of any material inserted or transmitted through FFZ; #3- Registration (instructions); #4- Contents available through FFZ (user responsibility for whatever he posts or transmits, and FFZ right to access such content or removing or restricting access to it if it deems it
necessary); #5- License to contents - user concedes non-exclusive world rights to FFZ to use any content posted or transmitted through the service by the user, for FFZ marketing purposes; 6) Rules of conduct for users (nothing that violates Italian or international law or violates the rights of third parties); 7) Right to create forums - any user can do so, always respecting the rules of conduct defined in #6; #8- Right of FFZ to impose limitations on # of messages posted, # of days messages can be available online, maximum size of a single message, etc); #9- FFZ's right to modify or terminate its services at any time; #10- User allowed to link to other sites but FFZ is not responsible for any harm or dgamae that may result to the user from such links; #11- User cannot reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell or use for any commercial purpose any content accessed through FFZ except user's own intellectual property; #12- FFZ disclaims any guarantees, i.e., User uses FFZ service as is at user's own peril and risk, FFZ does not guarantee the accuracy nor reliability of any contents posted, and will not be responsible for damage to user's computer or data because of material downloaded through FFZ; #13 Limitation of responsiblity - FFZ is not responsible for any loss or damage to user because of inability to access the service, non-authorized access, changes or manipulation of data transmitted by the user; #14- FFZ indeminity from any third party complaint arising from anything posted or transmitted through FFZ; #15- Users will be notified by e-mail or through messages online of any important notcies; and #16 - The agreement is governed by
Italian law.

In the registration form - the only required information are those found in the first section, ie, User Name, Password, Confirm Password, E-Mail, Confirm E-mail; everything else is optional (facoltativi) because any answers you fill in become public knowledge and can be visualized on the page.
a. The password must be at least 8 characters long and must
include at least 1 alphabet character, at least 1 numeric
character, and at least one special character (hyphen,
asterisk, in general those symbols found on the upper
part of the number keys on a keyboard. Ex: JOHN-PAUL9.
b. You must confirm your password by punching it in again.
Beside the box for Confirm Password is a box that
reads "Automatic Password" - I think the system assigns
you an automatic password if it does not get a
satisfactory confirmation.
c. However, after you have registered and been accepted
(as in the RFC, you get the confirmation on your private
e-mail), you may go back in and change your password or
any other data that needs to be changed.
d. The questions at the bottom of the Registration Form ask
whether you wish to hide your e-mail address, whether you
wish to send e-mail to other users, whether you wish to
be on the mailing list of your forum, of all FFZ users ,
or of the FFZ administrators.
