Che ne dite dei SICK OF IT ALL come gruppo hc americano?

So che xò hanno perso molti fans dopo che sono entrati nell’etichetta di Fat Mike, considerata promotrice di un punk troppo melodico x un gruppo che suona HC…!!!!

È da quasi 17 anni che i S.O.I.A. continuano a macinare dischi e concerti memorabili senza concedersi un attimo di tregua.
L’ultimo loro disco “life on the ropes” rappresenta un po’ la loro filosofia, cioè essere continuamente in gioco, sbattuti da una parte all’altra e musicalmente la sua formula è sempre la stessa degli album precedenti: hardcore NY incazzato e potente.

come ho accennato anche prima, l’unico aspetto negativo x la band è che parecchi fan di vecchia data non hanno voluto nemmeno ascoltare i loro ultimi 2 dischi xkè sono sulla Fat Wreck Chords, che x molti è sinonimo di pop punk.
E in un’intervista lo stesso vocalist Lou dichiara: “è difficile far capire ai nostri fans che non siamo un gruppo pop punk e che la Fat è solo un’etichetta che stampa i nostri dischi e che ci ha dato una mano”

é vero,il bassista dei SOIA è veramente spettacolare...

nell'ultimo album mi pare di aver sentito dei pezzi con influenze crossover/nu-metal...cmq non era affatto male nel complesso

si life on the ropes purtroppo ha qualche influenza numetal ( am e il nu non piace per un cazzo!!)..
per le influenze crossover invece sono rimasto sorpreso ma mi ha intrigato la cosa!!
Però canzoni come relentless e the innocent fanno spettacolo!!Quanto cazzo urla il cantante???'minchia quanto mi piace la 1 del nuovo disco!!
Il migliore rimane scratch cmq!!!
