La Rede Wiccan

In totale fiducia e amore,
la legge Wiccan devi seguire.
Vivi e lascia vivere,
leale nel dare e nel ricevere.
Tre volte traccia il cerchio senza fine,
che del male al di fuori sia confine.
Sia il tuo incantesimo sigillato,
se con la rima lo hai legato.
Lo sguardo sereno, leggero il tocco,
ascolta molto e parla poco.
La Runa delle Streghe se la Luna sta crescendo,
in senso orario vai cantando.
Al contrario con la calante Luna,
del bando canta la Runa.
La Luna nuova onora,
baciando due volte la mano alla Signora.
Per avere buona Fortuna,
esprimi i desideri quando è Piena la Luna.
Se il vento del Nord porta tempesta,
abbassa le vele e in casa resta.
Se il vento dal Sud soffierà,
l'amore sulla bocca ti bacerà.
Se il vento dall'Ovest si è alzato,
non trova pace chi è trapassato.
Da Oriente il vento porterà
aria di festa e novità.
Nove ceppi nel calderone porrai,
veloce e piano li brucerai.
Il Sambuco sia l'albero della Signora,
non bruciarlo o maledetto tu sia ora.
Quando la ruota comincia a girare,
i fuochi di Beltane inizia a bruciare,
quando la ruota a Yule giungerà,
accendi il ceppo e il Cornuto regnerà.
Nella corrente una pietra sia lanciata
da chi desidera verità svelata.
Dalla Signora tu sia benedetto,
se fiori e selva tratti con rispetto.
Quando è vera la tua necessità,
non badare all'altrui avidità.
Se con lo stolto il tuo tempo hai buttato,
fra i suoi amici sarai annoverato.
Alla Legge del Tre devi badare,
tre volte nel bene, tre volte nel male.
Quando la sfortuna ti segna
una stella blu sulla fronte disegna.
In amore sii sempre vero,
se vuoi che il tuo amante sia sincero.
Della Wicca il Rede è uno:
"Fai ciò che vuoi, finché non nuoce a nessuno!"

Nine woods in the cauldron go,
burn them fast and burn them slow.
Elder be the Lady's tree,
burn it not or cursed you'll be.
When the wheel begins to turn,
Let the Beltain fires burn,
When the Wheel turns to Yule,
Light the log and the Horned One rules.
Heed ye Flower, Bush and Tree,
by the Lady, blessed be.
Where the rippling waters go,
cast a stone and the truth you'll know.
When ye have a true need,
harken not to others' greed.
With a fool no season spend,
lest ye be counted as his friend.
Merry meet and merry part,
bright the cheeks and warm the heart.
Mind the Threefold Law you should,
three times bad and three times good.
When misfortune is enow,
wear the blue star on thy brow.
True in Love ever be,
lest thy lover's false to thee.
