"Ram is fast emerging as a revitalised force to be reckoned with in the golf industry – especially in the value section of the market. And no doubt its latest £99 driver will appeal to those looking for distance at a budget price.
Slightly bigger (at 460cc) than its FX V Series titanium driver, the FX9, due to be launched in the UK next month it’s reputed to be ‘longer, more powerful and forgiving’ than its predecessor.
Ram says the bigger head has allowed its technicians to make the club more forgiving and stable while delivering ‘explosive distance’ off the face. The True Temper graffaloy shaft will be available in regular and stiff flex.
With an improved launch angle, lightweight shaft and 380cc head, Ram claims the FX9 women’s driver has also addressed specific requirements of female golfers.
The clubs will be available in 9.5, 10.5 and 12 degree options.
Neither clubs meet the spring effect legal limits set by the R&A and due to come into force for competition in 2008 but at under £100 it’s a short term investment that won’t break the bank.
The new drivers will soon be joined by a range of FX9 fairway metals."
Ecco cosa ha provocato il mio commento... a onor del vero, devo dire che nella lista R&A l'oggetto non appare...
Dove sta la verità? La verità è là fuori... (cit.)
