Tributi per il COVID-19

Every single one of our artists who were on the road or had upcoming dates have been forced to cancel their tours, to devastating economic effect. In light of that, we’ve put together a new comp featuring all of those bands, with 100% of proceeds to be divided among them.

Sacred Bones is waiving our cut of every sale, and Bandcamp is also waiving their fee on all sales that happen today, Friday, March 20. The comp is called I Fall in Love With the Light in honor of our dearly departed friend Genesis Breyer P-Orridge, and it features new, rare, and unreleased tracks from Black Marble, Blanck Mass, Föllakzoid, Jenny Hval, Molchat Doma, Moon Duo, Pharmakon, SPELLLING, Uniform, Uniform & The Body, and Hilary Woods. Support for artists in their hour of need is so important and we hope this makes some small difference for our label family.

SUPPORT DAIS ARTISTS AND FRIENDS DURING COVID19

Over the last two weeks we have (alongside all of you) been adjusting to life in this strange new reality of isolation, social distancing, anxiety and caution. In an effort to support our artists (and our extended family and friends) who's tours have been cancelled, schedules compromised, and income threatened, we've compiled direct-links to artist merch and sales pages.

TODAY March 20th Bandcamp gives 100% of sales to the artist, without the bandcamp fee. This is a GREAT time to support artists you love and discover new music.

Merch purchases (shirts, artwork, artist physical etc) go a LONG way, so prioritize those along with self-released singles and the artists' past discography.

Several artists (ADULT., Aaron Dilloway, and Cold Showers to name a few) released new digital singles today, Tempers is selling their tour-exclusive tees from Europe, Wes Eisold has a new book out today, etc - and several links are to direct merch/art shops - please check them out!

CORONAVIRUS UPDATE

ALL ORDERS ARE SHIPPING AS NORMAL!

Unfortunately travel restrictions and temporary venue closures due to COVID-19 have affected some forthcoming dates from our artists. COMMON EIDER, KING EIDER have had to cancel their entire April tour. KHOST's gig in Leeds on 3rd April is cancelled. NYTT LAND have also had to cancel all live shows up to 24th April (and possibly beyond). PENNY RIMBAUD's show at Vortex on 26th also has been postponed. Many tours - even ones which were just about to be announced from SHE SPREAD SORROW and KOLLAPS - are now postponed until later in the year.

If you can, please support artists and buy direct from them where possible - Bandcamp has waived fees for today, so artists will get 100% of whatever you pay. You can click the direct links above and find more on our artist pages.

F-SPACE got in the Mobilization Nord studio to produce the audio and video recordings from the "Pandemic" performance on 11 March, 2020 at the Sonic Protest festival in Paris.


A few hours after this video was filmed, the U.S. announced a travel ban, so Scot and I cancelled the rest of our French shows and quickly booked a return flight to Portland, where we added some tracks to further compose this new piece. A few days later, as we all know, most of us began to shelter at home. I hope everyone is safe and OK during this terrible time. This performance represents a manifestation of our anxiety and feelings on that date during these historic times.
