non ricordo più come si fa : ho un file che quando lo apro si apre in due file1 e file2 ma non mi serve come si fa a evitare questa cosa?

Non è un comportamento normale di Excel; personalmente vedo solo due possibilità:
1) il tuo file contiene in AutoOpen una macro che fa tutto ciò;
2) hai pasticciato e modificato il file Personal.xls che è una specie di template di Excel.

hai provato a chiudere una delle due finestre, ingrandire l'altra e salvare?
