French sound-smith Sebastien Bouchet returns to Kompakt under his new moniker Sebastopol. Gahalowood seamlessly merges Bouchet's leftfield sensibilities and unlikely riffs with a strong dancefloor drive. "Gahalowood" gets things off the launch pad quickly, thanks to its stoic kick drum and surging synths -- the vocals evolve from atmospheric swabs of texture to full-blown early '80s new wave mumble-core. Marsheaux [re-] recorded "Get the Balance Right" exclusively for their HANSA Studios appearance last month (21 June 2017) [in occasion of the official Depeche Mode warm-up party for Depeche Mode’s Berlin Show] in the legendary studios and was offered at the merchandise stall at their live performance in a special ‘Souvenir Tour’ project. All copies of the box set were immediately sold out at merchandise stall and the few remaining were sold by Undo’s mailorder only. Due to public demand, and with ‘just’ 2 years of delay to originally announced release date, the EP is now unleashed to a wider public – although still remaining very limited!



The EP contains two versions of Depeche Mode’s 1983 single, including the instrumental B-Side ‘The Great Outdoors!’ plus two previously unreleased versions of ‘Now this is Fun’ (from the ‘See You’ Single 1982): a Live-version recorded in Sweden and in addition to the CDr inside above mentioned BOX-set, it also contains a new ‘The Eagle has landed’-Version of ‘Now this is Fun’, featuring the vocals of Marsheaux (while the original had James New of the Mirrors on vocals…)

"It feels like Ive been writing about Dead Body Love for as long as I have been recording harsh noise. What else can be said? I cant express enough how much of an influence Italian harsh noise has had on my own personal works, but It also lets me and several peers investigate the techniques and styles of the 1990s harsh noise and the atmosphere that was created expressed from different regions of the world. The more I listen and revisit the material of 90s Japanese harsh noise, the 80s UK power electronics, and the celebrated rougher tendencies of 90s Americanoise, the Italian material and different projects flare up that dictate a powerful Coles Notes of harsh noise and how it can be deconstructed and eventually materialized into vivisected lines and layers of crumbling, throbbing, cracking and creaking sound. I always trail back to Mauthausen Orchestra and its insurmountable importance to abrasive sound and its developments, especially in sub sect harsh noise genres of the 2010s... Then you take the obsessions and the lines of moving sound and have them expressed by something like the fanatical Atrax Morgue. Fearsome concentration and jarring meditation on lines of warbling and predatory analog synth work portray something invariably real about the obsession acted out from the Italian project Atrax Morgue. A different display of penetrative and studied sound seethes from Atrax Morgue as now the listener and fan of Italian industrial and harsh noise is confronted with another genre defining sound that pits throbbing and rough synth against haunting and manic vocalizations, disturbing the listener with its undeniable dedicated concentration. The resulting split tape with material from Dead Body Love and Atrax Morgue isnt as black and white as one might think. Dead Body Love makes use of dark and rough early industrial-like lines and meld into the eventual crushing forces that he is known for. In the vein of Atrax Morgue, samples are also manipulated and drawn out for the listener reminding us of his more delay heavy work. Atrax Morgues material works with DBLs material almost seamlessly via further haunting and throbbing dark material, slowly churning and deconstructing into his own distinct sound of heavily concentrated focus and mania for singular sounds and how they can repeat, move and create total atmosphere." - Sam McKinlay.

"Intervallo present a reissue of H. Ticals, aka Armando Sciascia, Impact: Synthesized Sound And Music, originally released in 1971. From the very first second, Impact: Synthesized Sound And Music is a difficult, icy release, embracing many cornerstones of what would become known as industrial music. These 16 sonic experiments are totally devoted to VCS3 synthesizers, which are the main architects of whirling escapes, white noise, and sonic landscapes in the mood of early Warp releases. Impact: Synthesized Sound And Music was originally released via Armando Sciascias Vedette label in 1971, under the alias H. Tical. Its a really peculiar library music album, filled with incredibly contemporary sounds and atmospheres. Unlike Distortions by Blue Phantom (1971), whose super groovy and almost hard-prog tracks are all credited to H. Tical, this is a totally different sonic planet - and its difficult to figure out what kind of images could be paired with such an extreme experiment, which is a one-of-a-kind effort in Sciascias more traditional career as a composer. Moreover, the musical delirium is enhanced by the usual beauty of the titles, such as "Colluvium", "Metastasis", "Trigonos", "Intercosmic", "Rubidio", or "Laser", mixing Latin and English. Peripheral Minimal is proud to announce the imminent release of, 'Beta Evers / Spatial Relation', a six-track 12” E.P., that also features, Heinrich Mueller of Dopplereffekt. The six tracks contain the coldest of minimal synth and technoid darkness, underpinned by a melancholic sentiment. This is the third release by Spatial Relation on Peripheral Minimal, and the first by Beta Evers.

Brigitte Enzler aka Beta Evers, grew up with the New Wave and experimental electronics scenes in the late 70's and early 80's. In her teenage years she founded a girl-band and started her first record label at the age of 16, to independently release and distribute the music of her project. During the early 90's Brigitte started to arrange gatherings / parties, (electronic music) for local underground clubs in her home city of Augsburg, Germany.

In the year 2000 she founded the electro collective Kommando 6, and in 2001 she decided to run a label again, under the same name, Kommando 6. Finally, in the same year, she started to compose and produce her own tracks independently. Besides her solo-project, Brigitte collaborates in a side-project with Dystronic called, Black Spider Clan, which began life in2002. Furthermore she is involved in, Flying Bodies and Radikale Analog Fraktion. In 2006 she closed the Kommando 6 label after it had released 20 records. More recently she started 2 new labels called Bodyvolt and Venus Noir.

Married New York based couple, Lissette and Jacob Schoenly founded Spatial Relation several years ago, and have sporadically released classic technoid synthwave / minimal wave, akin to fellow US act, 'Adult' who are also a major influence. Their first full length LP has been critically acclaimed, and the three tracks herein continue their twisted electro sounds.

The 12” is limited to 300 copies, with artwork by Greek designer A1on. It was mastered by Martin Bowes @ The Cage, Coventry, England.

Camerata Mediolanense is an ensemble of Italian musicians who gained recognition in the Neofolk/Neoclassical scenes by blending darkwave and post-punk with the musical spirit of the Renaissance and Baroque periods. The group was born in Milan in 1994, founded by harpsichordist/musicologist Elena Previdi. Literally translated as "a group of chamber musicians from Milano", Camerata Mediolanense is renowned for creating music according to the traditions and history of Italy and Europe's classical and folk music, and by using sublime voices, martial percussions, keyboards and electronic devices.

With its new album, "Le Vergini Folli" (english: "The Foolish Virgins"), Camerata Mediolanense has created a dense, lush work that places the piano in the foreground and uses a strict musical language of tonal harmony which is out of fashion nowadays and thus immerses the listener in the sounds of centuries past. Guided by the pure beauty of simple melodies, channeled through love songs, and interpreted by enchanting female voices, "Le Vergini Folli" is unique to the band's discography in that the album is devoid of percussion, driven primarily by the captivating interplay of vocals and vintage pianos that date back to the late nineteenth and early twentieth century.

Lyrically, the gaze of Camerata Mediolanense remains focused on the artistic and aesthetic achievements of the past. Six of the song lyrics are poems from "forgotten literature" written by Italian women of the past and two taken from Italian poet Petrarch (1304-1374), considered one of the greatest love poets of world literature and the founder of humanism (Camerata Mediolanense dedicated their entire previous album, "Vertute, Honor, Bellezza", to his works).

Unlike all of the group's previous works, which are deliberately organized into a specific sequence, the band invites listeners to freely change the order of the tracks on "Le Vergini Folli" to enhance and diversify the experience.
