monday night raw 27/9/10 **spoiler**

1. Miz and Alex Riley defeated Daniel Bryan and John Morrison. During Daniel Bryan's entrance, Miz made fun of Bryan's entrance music. Miz then asked who Bryan's partner was. Morrison's music hit to little reaction. Miz took control during the match and used his corner to his advantage. "You tapped out" chants from the crowd when Miz tagged in Riley. Bryan was tagged in and took the offensive against the Miz, but Miz hit the Skull Crushing finale for the win.

After the match while everyone fought ringside. The general manager ringed in with an email. Cole read that Daniel Bryan will defend his title against Morrison and Miz at Hell in a Cell in a submissions count anywhere (yes, a submissions count anywhere) match.

2. Natalya won a Divas battle royal to become the new number one contender to the Divas Title. Eve, Maryse, Natalya, Gail Kim, The Bellas, Tamina, Jillian, Melina, and Alicia Fox were the participants. Laycool came out last to sit in on commentary. The Bellas teamed against Jillian, Tamina and Melina tried to throw out Jillian. Eve and Maryse fought in a corner.

Melina was eliminated first. Tamina eliminated Gail Kim. Tamina was eliminated by Eve. The Bellas baseball slid at Jillian and Alicia Fox, but they missed and eliminated themselves. Alicia eliminated Eve. Jillian, Alicia, and Natalya were left. Alicia eliminated Jillian. Natalya, from on the ring apron, flipped Alicia fox out of the ring. Natalya won to become the No. 1 contender.

Edge will be hosting The Cutting Edge with the anonymous Raw general manager as his guest.

Ted DiBiase and Maryse were shown arguing backstage over costing each other a match. Someone knocked on the door. DiBiase answered and saw no one. Rather, he found a note that read, "Next week you will be mine."

Sheamus came out talking about an Irish race that was held to determine who was going to be the next ruler of Ireland. Sheamus said he will even cut off his own hand to get the title back. Sheamus sent an open invitation to any WWE superstar to face him tonight. No one came out at first. Sheamus said no one is man enough to take him on. Khali's music hit to interrupt Sheamus.

3. Great Khali defeated Sheamus via countout. Khali started off but Sheamus quickly took control. The match went ringside where Sheamus got himself eliminated but continued to beat down the great Khali until walking away.

Edge came out to host The Cutting Edge. The general manager will be speaking through the computer in a digital voice to remain anonymous. Edge cracked some jokes about the general manager's decisions being as bad as Lindsay Lohan's. The general manager announced that edge would be facing John Cena next. Cena came out again to a huge pop by the Indy crowd. Great cutting edge segment that the live crowd enjoyed.

4. John Cena defeated Edge. Good back and forth action with "let's go Cena" vs. "lets go Edge" chants by the fans. Edge scored a couple of near falls. The dueling Edge and Cena chants started again. Cena finally took control by lifting edge to the top turnbuckle, but edge reversed it and hit a spear for the win. Overall good match with great back an forth action

After the match, the general manager told Edge that he needs to play by the rules. The G.M. said Cena's foot was under the bottom rope. A picture proving the claim was shown on the jumbotron.

The match continued with Cena barely being able to stand up. When he did, edge went for the spear, but Cena reversed it into an STF. Edge escaped, only to e caught in another STF. Cena wone by submission.

After the match, the general manager said Edge lost fair and square. Edge stared at the laptop and eventually knocked over the general manager's podium. Edge grabbed a chair and continued to break hit the laptop with the chair and an elbow drop.

5. Justin Gabriel and Heath Slater (w/Nexus) defeated Evan Bourne and Mark Henry. Gabriel took the early offensive against Bourne. Slater and Gabriel with some great tag team work. The crowd was pretty quiet during the match until Bourne's hot tag to Henry, who was dominant offensively towards Gabriel.

Slater interfered and fought Henry ringside. Bourne avoided the 450 splash and went up and landed the Shooting Star Press, but Gabriel kicked out and rolled up Bourne for the win. After the match, all five members of Nexus took turns performing their finisher on Evan Bourne.

Barrett got the mic and gave his usual "Nexus or against us" speech. He said Cena will become Nexus property when Barrett beats him at Hell in a Cell. He said Cena will take Nexus to the next level and they will demoralize the rest of WWE. David Otunga said Nexus will be invading Smackdown this Friday. He said the Smackdown stars should consider themselves warned. Michael Tarver said the bad news is that nexus is bad news and no one can stop them.

Jericho and orton were shown walking to the ring.

Cena and R-Truth were shown talking backstage with truth saying he has Cena's back. Cena said that if Nexus is on smackdown, maybe he should be on smackdown, so if they run into each other, Hell in a Cell can come early.

6. Randy Orton fought Chris Jericho to an apparent no-contest when Sheamus interfered. Jericho came out saying "when I win this match tonight I will be the No. 1 contender and go on to win the WWE Title." He said Orton has changed into a deranged demented lunatic, and he is a viper who strikes when he wants. Jericho said he will call himself the Viper Killer, and tonight he will cut the head of the serpent. Jericho went on to name off everyone he has beaten until he was interrupted by Orton's music.

Good back and forth action between Jericho and Orton. Orton hit a clothesline to take back momentum and went to systematically stepping on jericho. Sheamus showed up and started walking down the ramp toward the ring. Sheamus stopped halfway down to watch the match. Jericho reversed an RKO into a bakslide pin attempt. Jericho got a couple nearfalls. Orton hit a suplex and took control of the match.

Jericho countered a move and hit a lionsault. Jericho locked in the Walls of Jericho. Orton reversed it and went for the RKO when Sheamus interfered. Orton quickly planted his head into the ground. There was an RKO chant from the crowd. Orton went for the RKO, but Jericho caught him midway and hit the code breaker.

Jericho grabbed a chair and came after Orton, who got up and hit the RKO on Jericho. Orton went to the corner and punted Jericho in the skull. Sheamus finally stood up outside the ring. Orton and Sheamus stared each other down and Orton's music hit to end the show.

Faccio il riassunto breve.
1. Miz e Riley sconfiggono Bryan e Morrison.
Dopo il match, viene annunciato che a Hell in the Cell ci sarà Miz vs Morrison vs Bryan per il titolo in un Submission counts anywhere match

2. Natalya vince una battle royal di divas e diventa la nuova #1 contender.

Viene annunciato il cutting edge, ospite il GM misterioso.

Maryse e Ted DiBiase backstage - messaggio dalla (dallo?) stalker misteriosa.

Sheamus lancia una sfida, che viene accettata da Khali.

3. Khali sconfigge Sheamus via countout. Alla fine, Sheamus infierisce su Khali.

Cutting Edge. Il GM usa una voce elettronica per non farsi riconoscere. Il GM annuncia Cena vs. Edge.

4. Cena sconfigge Edge. Edge colpisce Cena con la spear e lo schiena, ma il GM interviene dicendo che la gamba di Cena era sotto le corde, e fa riprendere il match. Cena sottomette Edge con la STF. Alla fine, Edge distrugge il podio ed il laptop del GM.

5. Justin Gabriel e Slater sconfiggono Evan Bourne e Mark Henry. Dopo il match, i cinque del Nexus connettono con la loro manovra finale su Bourne. Promo di Barrett, e viene annunciato che il Nexus farà una capatina a Smackdown. [//Direi per promuovere il passaggio di rete]

Jericho e Orton si avvicinano al ring.

Cena nel backstage con R-Truth. Cena dichiara che se il Nexus è a SD, forse dovrebbe andarci anche lui.

6. Orton e Jericho combattono in quello che sembra essere un no-contest a causa dell'interferenza di Sheamus. Punt kick di Orton su Jericho, alla fine, con quest'ultimo costretto alla barella.

e sembra anche drew e cody che hanno battuto la hart dynasty nel rematch(o re-match)

Sono l'unico a pensare che, un po' gli ultimi cori in suo favore, un po' questo Punt Kick possono essere una buona scorciatoia per Jericho? Magari ce lo troviamo fuori dai giochi per un po', il tempo di farsi gli affari suoi extra ring e di discutere il rinnovo, così vende l'infortunio... Poi magari torna, osannato dal pubblico, incazzato come una bestia, e magari ne esce un buon feud con Orton... Ok, troppe seghe mentali, ma ogni tanto si può fare dai...

Io invece non escludo affatto che questo possa essere stato fatto per metterlo fuori dai giochi solo temporaneamente. Se non tornava più allora la chiudevano ieri sera e non lo facevano più apparire, invece ha continuato a lottare. Se starà fuori, prevedo un suo ritorno verso Elimination Chamber, dove magari costa il titolo ad Orton, feud e scontro a Wrestlemania (Jericho ancora Heel, ovviamente). Anche qui però si entra nel campo delle seghe mentali.

lo split è vicino, e lo dimostra il fatto che finalmennte mandano Natalya per il titolo femminile, credo e spero che una chance al figlio del British Buldog da singolo la diano, mentre per Kidd la vedo + difficile; magari se non finisce in pochi mesi ii zona licenziamento possono riciclarlo con Gabriel (una volta finiti i Nexus) o Bourne in un tag team stile London-Kendrick

la nota positiva della puntata è che finalmente si sono decisi a dare a Natalya un piccolo push. piccolo perchè penso servirà solo a jobbare alle laycool, però è già qualcosa. speriamo si ricordi ancora come si combatte...

Jericho ci lascia, fortunatamente sembra solo per un po'. una pausa ci sta tutta, sarebbe stato troppo perderlo per sempre.
