ANOTHER WORKDAY DESTROYED

Great photos again, folks, totally distracting. That big one of Papa as a new priest really shows off his thick shock of hair, which looks just as thick in Maryjos' last photo of him as a cardinal autographing that book. I wonder how many people were first drawn to Papa because of his hair. I even know men who admit to admiring it.

Think what follicle-challenged younger men like Albert of Monaco must feel when faced with that magnificent head of hair!

But, Teresa, what are you doing at 4 a.m. ? Can't you sleep ? Is Papa the reason ? ( It's only a joke).
Or do you have to rise so early during the week ?

I found this photo in italian photo section - Papa with children. The way he is touching girls' shoulders express everything.

Ok... we have to come up with a plan... so simple and yet so sophisticated... How to get us all sent to the same block of cells so that Papa can come to visit us all??? Come on my sister Benaddicts, I know that we have several highly creative minds out there... THINK!!!

NanMn, regarding your hope that we all end up in the same "cell block", let's think a moment here. We are probably talking about some secret ancient dungeon at the bottom of the CDF building, not some American prison with thousands of cells divided into separate blocks by type of criminal or severity of sentence, electronic doors, security devices, etc. There are no cell blocks in the basement of the CDF, just some big communal dungeon with a single Swiss Guard at the doorway. I think you can rest assured that we will all be in the same space together.

Now, as to whether Papa will ever make a visit out of charity towards the captives, let's look at history. JPII visited a prison in Rome as pope. Papa just doesn't look like the type to visit a prison. If he does decide to, which prison would he choose to visit: a modern Italian prison where the guards would make sure he would get a nice welcome or our prison full of wild, screaming Benaddicts who haven't had a fix in days? I suspect you know the answer to that. I think our chances of seeing him are far better on the outside. We just need to come up with a plan. And, yes, there are many members of this forum (in fact, nearly all of them) with extremely creative minds, which worries me greatly when I let myself think about it.

Will this smashingly georgeous profile from today's audience (it's still 12/7 in the US, though our Forum clock is already 6 hours into 12/8) inspire a creative scheme...or Ratzi-coma?

OK, ladies, same cell block! Here's the photo I would choose at the moment, to have as a poster on my cell wall, but I'd like the whole wall to be papered with posters of Papa. Would that be allowed?
And, of course, he would have to visit us. We'd shout "Benedetto!" to annoy the guards, until he DID visit us!

What a Mass this morning! I hope we'd be led out in chains to attend a Mass like that!
