Da notare che il dischetto riporta erroneamente la data del giorno 14.
Si tratta di una registrazione incompleta in quanto sia la presentazione della band che il finale del concerto non furono registrati dallo spettatore.
Subito dopo aver cantato "Burning love", Elvis lascia per un breve periodo di tempo il palco e JD Sumner riempie il vuoto cantando "Sweet Sweet Spirit"; Elvis rientra poi prima che finisca la canzone.
Da segnalare infine una versione (breve) in italiano di "O sole mio" eseguita da Elvis !

Ovviamente ci troviamo di fronte all'ultimo spettacolo di Elvis: Indianapolis, 26 giugno 1977. Nel corso degli anni era stato pubblicato diverse volte in vinile in resa sonora pessima ma a partire da "Adios", l'audio è stato notevolmente migliorato e questo "The last live session" fa parte di quest'ultima categoria.

Si parte con la session quasi completa di 15 takes di “I need your love tonight” e si prosegue con le prime cinque di “Milky white way” e di “His hand in mine”.
In seguito troviamo due brani del 26 maggio 1963 e poi, finalmente, abbiamo “U.S. Male”, uno dei simboli del rinnovamento musicale che stava attraversando Elvis in quel periodo.
Fra una take e l’altra possiamo sentire un Elvis di ottimo umore ma anche abbastanza volgarotto: non si contano le parolacce (anche se dette in allegria) e le risate sguaiate alle battute…
La gemma del CD sta proprio dopo la prima take di “U.S. Male” ed è la totalmente inedita “Wings of an angel”, altrimenti conosciuta come “Man in the moon” o “The prisoner’s song”. Si tratta di un brano country registrato nel 1924 da Vernon Dalhart; Elvis cambia le parole in questa improvvisazione di un minuto e si diverte un mondo infarcendola di parolacce.
In ogni caso è spassosa per il buon umore che si respira in sala di registrazione.
Esiste un altro CD pirata del 1993 con lo stesso titolo di questo ma la label è German Records ed il contenuto è differente.
