tank cover is bagster and it was with the bike when i bought it.you can find new one in Japan but is far away [SM=g27813]

Tecnosel was found in a local store as stock.about the rear disc i think you mean the protection loss.it braked when i was riding in a difficult path with rocks.new will come sometime

Sure, but often too expensive.
Btw: what are the tyres your bike wears in the pictures?

(p.s. I too prefer the "dr Jeckyll" version, the one whith the standard fairings of the 2nd series).

And I prefer the version with the fairing, the winter however not go away on long trips. I go mainly to difficult paths, and there is the fairing removal makes my life easier.
alfredo you are wright,suspension mods are often too expensive.I was lucky because I found the conversion which was bolt-0n(ready to install in domi)in very good price(200euros).otherwise i don't have the financial wherewithal to dispose of the 500 + euros needed to fix it from the start.

Resurrection of current thread for update of my Domi.In last 3 years i have done some thinks for it.
1.5 year ago i refreshed the engine(actually not me,my mechanic),the odometer was at 97.000kms
I used JE piston,9:1

Cylinder head was cracked and it was repaired at engineer shop

Seal valve stems from Athena,gasket set we used this www.ebay.com/itm/MOTOR-DICHTSATZ-HONDA-NX650-Dominator-GASKET-KIT-NX650-/250832648863?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_77&hash=item3a...
I found gasket set in Athens store for 30euros because it was stocked for years.

After engine repair i have done about 10.000kms with no problems [SM=g27987]

Later i'll post some changes and experiments i've done for the look of Domi [SM=g7574]

How many kms is your odometer?

I've tried gas tank from XR600 1986-'87 but i wasn't satisfied of how it sιts to domi's frame.Best option is tank from XR600 1988-'99 because it has different shape but is difficult to find a red one in good price.

So i bought an Acerbis tank for XR600,250

I also tried to fit side panels and tail from XR250/400 but a serious injure in my leg stopped me to finish this project [SM=g27994]

After my injure recovery i found an Acerbis tank for 3rd series.

I peel off stickers and now Domi is in this condition.

Next step is to fit XR650R headlight, side panels and tail from Domi's 3rd series.

This is how i wan't to be(the tourist version) but in red colour.Front fairing is from Rallyraid.co.uk.There is another fairing from cemoto www.cemoto.it/articolo.php?id=183&lingua=uk#.VTNVafCdd5Y .Both fairings will cost about 100+ euros,if someone has a cheaper option for fairing i like to know [SM=g27985]

For longer trips i use an old ufo replica mascherina faro and Domy kappa windshield.

New red/white handguards

New anodized cnc brake/clutch levers from ebay and Domino grips
