In support of their collection "Monuments & Melodies" Incubus is offering VIP Packages for their Summer 2009 North American Tour
All proceeds from the auction will benefit The Make Yourself Foundation

VIP Packages include:
Two (2) premium seating or pit tickets to see Incubus live.
Two (2) limited and uniquely numbered Make Yourself Foundation (MYF) VIP Laminates guaranteeing you and your guest will:
Be greeted by a representative of the band and led through security into the venue.
Have guided access backstage to meet the band during a 30 minute pre-show meet.
Have a group (10 people) photo with Incubus that will be available for download within 7-days.
Two (2) postcards designed by Jose that can be autographed at the meet & greet.
Two (2) cotton cinch bags with art designed by Brandon.
Winners will retrieve packages from will call the night of the event.

To that end, we're proud to unleash MYF's Social Networking website on the world! Since 2003 MYF has tried to harness technology to enable the true philantropists (you) to talk with each other, plan events, upload inspiring videos and pictures, start worthwhile groups, and just generally SHARE with each other. And now....we can finally offer a forum for all those things.

In breve gli incubus hanno donato al Cheshire Project (che è un progetto che si occupa di persone con handicap, ragazzi down, etc..) un pullman per effettuare i vari spostamenti!

Incubus/MYF loves The Cheshire Project ( a camp for people with disabilities). We gave them a grant this year so they could buy a bus and have adequate transportation for their campers. Look what they named the bus!

La grafica di MYF è molto bella e terrei ad aggiungere che nel sito è stata inserita una nuova opzione mooooolto gratificante che ho scoperto ricevendo una mail direttamente dalla fondazione:ora abbiamo anche la possibilità di creare una nostra pagina personale in cui richiedere l'amicizia degli altri iscritti che visitano i profili,aggiungere le nostre foto e i commenti!
Dovreste poterci arrivare direttamente dalla home di MYF(clikkando su "MY Page")...io sono già stata aggiunta da uno degli iscritti !

Brandon Collaborates with TOMS Shoes and Undefeated




Brandon has teamed up with TOMS Shoes as part of their Collaborative Canvas Collection. Before he left for Incubus' summer tour, he worked on a massive canvas which was later made into shoes. These shoes are a limited edition run and will be sold at Undefeated store in Silverlake, California.

Came across this site today, PlanetGreen, and it looks pretty cool. The idea is actually exactly what we need: use capitalism to help motivate people to become 'green'. Nothing seems to get people motivated faster than making money!

Will some of you guys give it a shot and post your results here for others to see? If it works as well as it seems like it could we should spread the word.

Surfrider Foundation To Honor Pearl Jam, Incubus and David Chokachi With Keeper of the Coast Awards

On behalf of everyone in Incubus and the MYF, we are so thankful for this mention. I have always felt that in all surfer's there is an Environmentalist at some stage of fruition. Whether he knows it or not. He is tuned into the water, the weather, the tides and the wind. And with this awareness comes a very basic, very important responsibility to share what he knows. Incubus to be honored at The Surfrider Foundation Gala
The Surfrider Foundation is honoring Incubus with their “Keeper Of The Coast” award at the organization’s upcoming 25th Anniversary Gala in Los Angeles on Friday, October 9th. The award, which Ben and Brandon will be on hand to receive, recognizes the contributions of those individuals and groups who’ve made significant contributions towards helping the Surfrider Foundation protect our world’s oceans, waves and beaches.

The event is open to the public and includes an art auction, hosted bar and food, and a special performance by Camp Freddy (featuring members of Jane’s Addiction, The Cult and Guns n’ Roses). For information or to purchase tickets, go to www.surfrider.org/25th.

Ho ricevuto anche io la notizia,sono davvero attivissimi !
...e pensare che volevamo fare la famosa proposta l'aprile scorso per il terremoto in Abruzzo(vedere topic apposito)...alla fine non abbiamo avuto abbastanza tempo e non se nè fatto nulla,ma l'importante è che ste cose non succedano!

In questi ultimi giorni comunque in Italia abbiamo anche altre emergenze che necessitano aiuti,come l'alluvione in Sicilia...la libertà di stampa...il trucco e parrucco di Mister Silvio(ooooops ma lui c'è sempre quando si parla dei problemi!)...
Scusate,rido per non piangere!

Comunque tornando a noi:se si volesse attivarsi per l'alluvione ci stareste?(...il 2012 si avvicina!...ma quanta scemaggine mi circola per le vene oggi ?)

...dipende in che modo dobbiamo attivarci,ma in linea di massima io ci stò più che volentieri

MYF donates to Philippines, Indonesia and Samoa


During the past couple weeks or so we've been following the devastating loss of life in Samoa, Indonesia
and the Philippines. We feel compelled to make a donation to organizations that are assisting
the rescue efforts for all three of these natural disasters. This money was raised by you, the fans,
and we feel like making a donation to these regions is something you would want. We recently
spent some time in the Philippines and it breaks our hearts to see the wreckage and loss of life.

We've made $10,000 donations ($30,000 in all) to each of these organizations:
Mercy Corp (Indonesia)
UNICEF (Somoa)
GlobalGiving Foundation (Philippines)
