Yes, sadly they have the same problems. [SM=g27833]
The whole economic range of Marshall Amps doesn't works like the original ones.. Or better, They can be ok for home practing and rehersals, but to play live... [SM=g27812] [SM=g27812] [SM=g27812]
I tell you this because I own a 80W Marshall combo amp, the 8080 (I think that's the model...)...and live It plays not really well...
I need the head and the cabinet... [SM=x1001237] [SM=x1001237] [SM=x1001237] [SM=x1001237] [SM=x1001236] [SM=x1001236]

In the end, 60 € for a 10W Marshall, just to start playng guitar at home, It's a good price, only don't think to recreate John's Sound with those kind of Amplifiers!!

Really? [SM=x1001340] I didn't know it... but there's a lot of things I don't know about Marshalls, guitars and so on [SM=g27829] ...
And what's about 15 watt amp? It's the same? It sounds colder too? So what's a good small amp for home? Thanks!

Pay attention beacuse the small Marshall Amps are not equiped with tubes. The small ones are called Valvestate, it means they have just one tube, and the sound is made by transistors, so not a real sound, just a created sound, usually they sound colder than the real Marshall amps!!!

In a big Centre on the road to Vicenza, but I don't think it's a good idea, there all it was so expensive... You could try to find what you're searching for here www.strumentimusicali.net
Few months ago I've found a brand new 10 watt Marshall amp for 60 €... Good luck! [SM=g27811]

WOOOOOW! I LOVE MARSHALL AMPS [SM=x1001337]!!! And that's the reason why during the shows my favourite place is JUST in front of THEM! [SM=x1001292] [SM=x1001248]
Yesterday night I told Jem on chat that last Saturday I went with my friend (and Europemaniac) Laura in a big musical instruments shop, and I left a piece of my heart on a 10 watts Marshall amp and on an Epiphone Les Paul so similar to one of John's Gibson... [SM=x1001318]

As seen on the "Live from the dark" DVD John uses live these kind of Amplifiers:

JCM 800 head, 50 W, pretty loud also if it's not 100W, modified with KT88 power tubes (usually used on more powerfull amps)
number 2 Marshall 1960V as cabinets with 4x12" Celestion Vintage 30 speakers.
He usually has two main amps on stage, a third one is only for back-up (the fourth one you see onthe DVD is Joey's)

The one on your left:

All clear? [SM=x1001237] [SM=x1001237]
It kicks ass!!!!
