Part of the beauty of writing music is that you literally surrender yourself. You make yourself vulnerable. You open up a window for other people to look inside you. Inevitably, people will judge you for it, but thats no reason not to do it. In my opinion, thats more reason to do it. Yeah, we stretched out in different areas on this record, and some people will say its awful and that we shouldnt have done it, but we didnt make the record for those people.
