EVENING PRAYER FOR THE POPE BENEDICT XVI EMERITUS
Our Lord Jesus,
I thank you for the great gift you've done to your church
in Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI.
Thank you for the sweetness of his smile
and of his teaching.
I thank you because with him we learned to love the Love
and your commandments.
I thank you because you have given us in him
an example of wisdom, humility and courage.
Reguard him and protect him in this night
because he awakenings to pray
and pray for your people.
Amen.
